I don’t know how I got to Wilder’s book before realising that I hadn’t read this one!!!
Oh my! This is full on! Havoc is a bit of a nomad and has no plans to settle down after getting burned by an ex. But when he and Carla meet sparks fly!! I freaking love this couple!! The chemistry, the banter!! I have absolutely loved reading their story!
I absolutely love Havoc, he is my favorite. He is so moody and has no time for bs but yet deep down is so caring about those he calls family. Then there is Carla, she is awesome and also takes no bs from anyone. She is also Nash’s sister so you can see where she gets it from. When these two meet randomly, there is some major heat going on between them. And a one night stand they both thought they were having turns into a lot more. Havoc does his best though to push Carla away and make it only about one thing but what Havoc does not realize is Carla has a way of getting in there under his skin. Then there’s Carla’s life plan that definitely doesn’t include a biker but fate does have a way of interfering.
You have to go read this book to get all the details, don’t worry it’s definitely worth it.
Carla and Havoc find each other in a random bar one night. A one night stand is all either of them thinks it will be. However these two have chemistry. And it’s hot!!!
They feel the pull from each other, but they lead very different lives.
Havoc has a mean streak and the club uses it to their advantage. Once Carla’s brother (who is also in the MC) realizes they’ve been seeing each other he loses his ever loving mind. I wanted to strangle Nash. He has good intentions but for the love of God let Carla and Havoc figure this out on their own!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading how these two fight their own demons but also fight the other’s battles as well. Love should bring out the best in each other. Even if you find it in the most unlikeliest of places.
This book is suspenseful and hot and heavy. This is one of my favorites in this entire series. Well done indeed!
**I was lucky enough to win an ARC of this book**
Oh my lawd! Move over Scott Cole, Havoc Caldwell is trying to steal my heart <3 I usually highlight some of my most favorite quotes or lines from books for reviews, but I have to say this book was so difficult between the dirty mouth of both Carla and Havoc and the sweetness of Havoc I have so many highlighted!
**"Havoc, it's rude to shoot for heaven when you haven't even stopped to ask a girl her name."**
Carla and Havoc both have demons and insecurities from their pasts that they must overcome before a relationship between both of them would work.
But with Havoc a nomad and Carla determined to live her life by her "life plan" can these two find a way to compromise and break down the walls to around their hearts?
**"I'd never believed in soul mates, but I figured if there was ever a woman who'd been made as mine, it had to be her."**
Havoc is ALL ALPHA. He's a jerk and at times an a$$hole, but trust me you will fall in love with him once you finish reading this story.
**You're that woman, Carla. You're my light."**
Poor Carla has her own insecurities (which if you've read Nash's book you know some of them). But she's still just as independent and gives Havoc a run for his money in the dirty mouth department.
NINA I FREAKIN <3 YOU! CAN I LIVE IN YOUR HEAD WITH ALL THESE STORM MEN?
Wow!! Just holy hell wow!!! One of my favorite in the Storm series!! If you want a smokin’ hot sinfully delicious biker story then this one is for you. It will make you laugh, smile and fan your face. OMG! Havoc is bada**, dirty talking, sex on a stick, take me as I am kind of guy. Carla is outspoken and almost as dirty talkin’. Together they are dynamite with explosive chemistry. What starts out as a physical relationship soon develops into more as you read how the characters deal with family, MC business and things like emotions or past issues. Definitely one to read for you won’t put it down until the end!
I have loved this series since book one. Storm MC will hook you early and soon you’ll be addicted to checking for updates and teasers on the next book.
Havoc and Carla met at a bar. Neither of them there to pick anyone up, but it happened and now he’s hooked. Okay, maybe not quite hooked initially but he sure can’t get her out of his head and that’s a foreign concept to him.
He’s also all about being in control, in every aspect of his life including the bedroom. Good thing Carla’s willing to hand over the reigns!
Carla’s the opposite of everything he’s usually attracted to, she’s got a mouth on her too!!
I love the strong females in this series and Carla won me over quickly.
Both of them have been screwed over and aren’t looking for a relationship but both find something they need in each other. Things are going pretty good when a teensy tiny fact Carly left out when she met him comes to light and risks everything they’ve been attempting to build.
Carla needed a spanking if you ask me, that little omission deserved a red rear end! Loved Havoc, the entire story kept me glued to my kindle waiting to see what would happen next and where these two kickass characters would go.
Awesome!
I really liked this book. The story was enthralling, the writing was fluid and the characters were incredible.
Havoc and Carla were both so genuine, passionate and intense.
They both carried heavy baggages from the past and they were wary about each other (understandably so). But their connections was undeniable and their feelings kept growing and growing despite their efforts to control them.
They were both as free and wild as they were devoted to each other. Their respect was mutual and they naturally acted like partners instead of flings.
It was amazing to read.
