Addison and William Hartman’s once tumultuous affair is mostly a thing of the past. These days it seems they have it all—that the world is literally at their fingertips. They are finally living their hard won happily ever after.
Settled into a marriage that is anything but normal, the two of them are learning the art of the dance it takes to make a long-term commitment between a pair of … of highly-passionate and driven people work. The question is whether or not they can sustain it.
And it appears they can—that they have the give and take in the bag—until outside forces beyond their control come forth and change the course of their lives, once again—and this time, not for the better.
The final book in the Bedrock Trilogy, this story explores what happens after the curtain closes and the reality of happily ever after begins.

It’s one of the amazing books I have read and I would love for others to read
Intense! Mindblowing! Insane!
Lydia is one sicko psycho! I do hope their is a book about her psychotic adventures.
Well damn. I did not like the way it ended. I feel like there is much to be resolved. But on a happy note, book 3 was fantastic. With the way book 2 ending it was as if it was all over, till Scott’s crazy daughter shows up. And man is that woman psycho. Britney King sure does write psycho well.
Lydia Hammons is in love. Unfortunately he does not love her back, much less knows she exists. Her object of desire, William. That’s right. After coming to pick up her father’s ashes and to plot her revenge, she sees William for the first time. Revenge? What revenge? She is in love. He is tall, dark and handsome and soon to be hers. Or so she says. Unfortunately for Addison, she is again in the sights of a psychopath.
In my last review in the series for book 2 Breaking Bedrock, I mentioned it was better than the first. Well move over because this book blew me away. It is the best of all of them and is absolutely twisted. Britney King out done herself with this one, writing a very complex and psychotic delusional sociopath.
Britney King writes crazy very well. Another edge of the seat thriller with heavy emotions. The story was extremely realistic. Reading this book is just like watching a movie on the big screen. It is well plotted out and unique. I just have to say “that bitch be crazy!!!” That Lydia is off her rocker and has lost all her freggin’ marbles. I was really worried there for a bit about Addison. I was especially worried William was going to go off the deep end and end up in jail. This book has a lot of crazy and a lot of death.
Again the book was fantastic. The series was excellent. Very intriguing and exciting characters with a unique and wonderful plot line that flows flawless and smooth throughout all three books. I can’t say this enough…Britney King is the goddess of romance thrillers. Her books grab your attention and will take the air right out of your lungs.
I really had hoped that the end would wrap up nice. I feel as if I am on a cliff wondering if they will always be unfinished. I can’t say much more or I might spoil it. ;( This is a five-star series and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a dark and dangerous book. But if you are sweet and innocent minded and easily offended, then maybe you should skip this one.
The third installment of this series was by far the best of the three. You have to love Lydia and her creativity in this book, but Addison and William were wishy-washy to me. There were some horrific twists here, and it would be interesting to know how the Hartmans proceed after all of this. Lydia’s terrorizing of the Hartman family and her outrageous actions would be too terrible for the average person to recover from. Good read!
