Good things never have to end. Tracy Wolff, the New York Times bestselling author of Ruined and Addicted, brings her eBook original serial to an unforgettable climax in Play Me’s sensational finale . . . for now. My name is Aria Winston. I’ve fought desperately to escape the seedy underbelly of Las Vegas. Now I’m in control of my own life and my own destiny . . . but my future belongs to … own destiny . . . but my future belongs to Sebastian Caine.
Technically, Aria may still be in one piece, but she’s feeling pretty damn close to broken. While she knows Sebastian would die before hurting her, their intense, steamy encounters have opened up old wounds in them both. Now Aria is considering the unthinkable: walking away again—this time to save Sebastian from the pain she knows her past will cause him. But Sebastian’s the one who set her free in the first place—how can she not show him the same care and compassion? Because, in the end, being together forever is the only thing that feels right.
Play Me is intended for mature audiences.

Well this is it folks! Play Me Right by Tracy Wolff – the final entry in the Play Me series. We finally get to learn what big secret Aria is hiding. Oh, it’s not clean cut as that because, she’s been hanging on to it for so long. It’s a rocky road to her reveal as she feels it’s time to be as honest with him as he was with her. The sex between them is hot as ever and will be sad to see it end. As for the ending, I can’t help but feel a bit robbed with it. It felt rushed and abrupt. Yes, it’s a short book at just 56 pages but, I feel like it could have been fleshed out a bit more. Maybe there is an added chapter that I am missing. Maybe in the complete book. Speaking of which…
I read each book in the Play Me series as individual novellas. Each book was under a hundred pages and left me hanging on cliffhangers. I would have preferred to have read them as one complete book which I do believe is now available for purchasing. If you plan on purchasing the books, do yourself a favor and buy the complete set. It’s cheaper than buying them individually, and it certainly wouldn’t leave you with a cliffhanger hangover after every 5-6 chapters.
Stars: 3
I received this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I was given Play Me Right by Net Galley for an honest review
Aria is running scared when Sebastian pushes her beyond what she can handle and she isn’t sure she can give him what he wants. After a heart to heart with her baby sister she is ready to come clean and she hopes her heart will survive the coming annihilation she just know is coming when Sebastian learns all of her horrible secrets.
Sebastien knows he has messed up really bad and with Aria running scared he has no clue how or even if he can fix what he broke. But when she shows up he is willing work with what she is willing to give, it’s a start and he will take it and her.
I knew I should have requested the middle books but no I had to go and be a na-na head and just request the first and last books in this series. But hey, hind sight is 20/20 and I won’t do that again because missing the meat and potatoes sucks big time.
Play Me Right is well written and thankfully had no editing issues. The sex scene was definitely steamy and you could sense the bitter sweet emotions that went with it. And when Aria was sharing her secret you could feel her gut wrenching pain and the courage it took for her to tell her story. In the end Aria is a brave woman and she deserves the happiness that Sebastien is offering.
