Raised to be the “perfect” wife, Victoria has spent her days maintaining her impeccable outward appearance and her nights mingling with the rich and entitled. When her engagement to Scott ended, Victoria thought she’d be rid of him and his circle of friends forever, but a chance encounter with Brock will change not only the way she sees him, but the way she sees herself.
Brock is a man who’s … man who’s happy and content with his life. A surrogate parent to his now-adult brothers, he spends his days running the company he built himself and his nights playing in his brothers’ local band. When he runs into Victoria in the bar after a show, sparks unexpectedly fly, and he’s interested in seeing where it goes.
But can the man who’s happy with his life, convince the woman who always wants more, to give him a shot with only 15 Minutes on the clock?

15 Minutes (Time for Love #4) was a good read by Bethany Lopez. Victoria was raised to be the “perfect” wife, and has made sure that her outward appearance reflected that. She has a chance encounter with Brock that changed the way she saw him and herself. Brock is content with his life and is a surrogate parent to his now adult brothers. I really enjoyed reading Brock and Victoria’s story and can’t wait to read more in this series.

Where to start with this book. I did not read any of the other books in this series, however, this did not take away from the story. Everything about the relationships and previous interactions are explained well enough and it is definitely readable as a standalone. The story of Brock and Victoria really made me laugh and it is an “opposites attract story”. It’s one of those stories which you’ll remember years after reading it. The book was a little too sexy for me (if you know what I mean) and I felt it was a bit fast paced. Other than that I loved it, hence the four star rating. Moreover, I really loved the personal growth from Victoria. I loved the scene where Victoria got mud all over herself. Yes, I am keeping this cryptic because I don’t want to spoil anything!

Great characters make this story. Brock, strong, fun, and giving versus Victoria, sexy, stiff, and snobby.
This is my first Bethany Lopez book, but certainly not my last. I loved Tori and Brock’s opposites attract story. There’s one scene when he won’t initiate the kiss that is so beyond amazing. If you’re craving a quick, straight-to-the-good-stuff romance filled with swoons and angst, 15 Minutes will definitely satisfy you.
An interesting story with wonderful characters! I laughed at times and cried on occasion. I enjoyed this story.
It turned out that Brock and Victoria are my favorite couple now.
Very good book holds your interest
I loved this book. Unusual storyline. Opposites attract. Funny and romantic.
Loved the book but the ending was too abrupt. She was raised with money, her sister wasn’t. They were split up as children. They meet up at a bar where her sister is meeting up with a band member. She is freaked very classy and doesn’t fit in. In addition her previous lover is there with his new girlfriend. When thebandstops playing one of the brothers asks for 15 minutes to get to know her. They are complete opposites. They develop a loving relationship and he encourages her to loose up even taking her muddling. Then one night they get into a rift at the bar and he takes off on his motorcycle. Things do not go well after that.
The biker with the social princess. I really liked this story as each of the people grew as people. Ready to kick Brock towards the end and he didn’t deserve the foregiveness. But, I’m glad he got it.
While some people can bring out the worst in you, others can bring out the absolute best. These two are so cute when together and I am glad the crew is willing to give Victoria a second chance to really show who she is. I really enjoyed this book and all the confusion and drama that came with it. Great listen
I didn’t really think I would like this story. Victoria was so cold and calculating in previous stories and Brock wonderful. I was so wrong. A terrific story of forgiveness, importance of friendship, loyalty and openness to start again.
I have been enjoying reading and/or listening to the Time For Love series by Bethany Lopez. I love this group of friends, their camaraderie and loyalty to each other. I feel like they are my friends as well, but I have to say 15 Minutes has been my favorite so far. Which is really surprises, as it features Victoria. Yes, that Victoria.
We have known Victoria from the three previous books as Scott’s fiancé. She has always seemed cold and distant and never truly welcomed his friends into her life. What we did not know is she was raised to be a “perfect wife” and all it entitled. She never understood what his friends meant to him. But now Scott and his friends are out of her life for good, right? Then a chance encounter with Brock, yes, that Brock, that has sparks flying everywhere for these two!
We have always seen Victoria as a strong and beautiful woman, but now we also see Victoria’s vulnerability and sense of loss. My heart actually broke her for a bit, which yeah, surprised me as well. And Brock? Well I have loved him since we first met him. He is an easy-going and very likable guy. His brothers are everything and he is extremely loyal. No one is more surprised by their chemistry then Brock. But why not explore what they feel for each other and have some fun, right? But life is never quite that simple!
Narrated by Olivia Patterson, I absolutely loved 15 Minutes by Bethany Lopez. Brock and Victoria could not be more different and yet they seemed to fit. Their journey was not always an easy one, but I loved seeing Brock getting her to open up to new things and encourage her. She truly blossomed in this story and we all need a man like that!
4.5-stars! Happy listening!
Ridiculously brief
I didn’t actually read the book, just started the preview which used the f word in the first paragraph so I was done. In my opinion there’s never a need for that.
