A tantalizingly scandalous age gap romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde… her home and claims her body. Not when he shows up in her life again with expensive gifts to win her trust. Not even when she’s falling for him.
And everything else is falling apart…

K., what happened here? I like your series about the Wright brothers. This book however did not match any of my expectations. Awkward theme, awkward – no awful heroine, unrealistic relationship, an iffy writing style… DNF, stopped 46%, and I should have followed my instinct and stopped earlier.
If you are Into teenagers and older man this book is for you .this book is not my favorite from this author.
A 17 year old with an adult married man. It’s a terrible read and waste of time.
HORRIBLE
Don’t bother reading it , I couldn’t even root for the Heroine which goes against every romance/ erotic/chick- lit and contemporary novel . Hated it.
Boring read. No depth to the characters. I would not recommend this book. Very predictable and shallow.
main characters aren’t very likable ~ underage romance.
It shows the twisted side of human nature, in a world that does not seem real but can be.
I love K.A. Linde but when I started reading this I thought WTF am I getting into?! An underaged girl (calm your horses, she’s 17) and an older man. Bryna is a rich, spoiled, mean girl and I wasn’t even sure I was supposed to like her. She reminded of Leah from Tarryn Fisher’s The Opportunist series, the girl you love to hate. But true to K.A.’s style at the heart of it was a wonderful story
of a young girls transformation into an adult. Another start of what I’m assuming will be an amazing series. Can’t wait to see how her story ends.
Wow, where to start. I have a love/hate relationship with this story and its characters.
**SPOILERS**
I was immediately annoyed by Bri at first impression. Her “queen bee” attitude and being a snob just really made me question at first if I would like the main character that she was in the story. The more I read, the more I realized it was all just a front and she was really letting her guard down to the HOT Jude! (I picture Jude Law when I read this book, it only seems fitting that he is my Jude). Their times together were great! I love that he really got her and understood what she felt inside, despite their age difference that was still unknown to them at this early time into their love story. I like that their story is full of secrets and lies, and in the end I was just waiting for the climax of the story to take a twist, and I didn’t really see the twist that transpired to occur at the end. Knowing Jude was married the whole time, I would have never guessed who his wife was and that he has a son, and must say that was the biggest twist. I hope this isn’t the end of their story. I know the end of the book followed Bri off to College without Jude, but I hope in Gold we get to see them reunite at some point.
I really was expecting Pace to have feelings for Bri too based on his behavior and that is his hidden agenda the whole time. I guess that still could be the case, but overall I don’t like him; Of course I’m sure no one would. I hope after all that has transpired in Diamonds, Bri will get back at him just as good as he got her by telling Jude’s wife about them at the event.
I am really hoping in Gold, Jude and Bri find their way back together, and she doesn’t just move on and leave Jude behind altogether. Only time will tell on that though. I love book series, but hate the gaps between release dates. The anticipation is just too much! I must find a new book to read between now and then to get my mind off of these two. Maybe a revisit to Brady Maxwell is in order!
KA Linde you have done it again and hooked me on a new series! Can’t wait for July!
