Fans of Jodi Ellen Malpas, K. Bromberg, and Joanna Wylde will be unable to resist this sexy, deeply intimate tale of a woman running from her past, and the darkly mysterious man who sets her free. I didn’t think answering someone else’s cellphone would change my life. But the stranger with the low, deep voice on the other end of the line tempted me, awakened my body, set me on fire. He was … me on fire. He was looking for someone else. Instead he found me.
And I found a hot, secret world where I felt alive for the first time.
His name was Dylan, and, strangely, he made me feel safe. Desired. Compelled. Every dark thing he asked me to do, I did. Without question. I longed to meet him, but we were both keeping secrets. And mine were dangerous. If I took the first step, if I got closer to Dylan—emotionally, physically—then I wouldn’t be hiding anymore. I would be exposed, with nothing left to surrender but the truth. And my truth could hurt us both.

“Everything I Left Unsaid”, by Molly O’Keefe, is one of the best books I have read all year. A refreshingly unique story that had me glued to the pages until the wee hours so that I could finish. A sexy, deeply intimate tale of a woman running from her past, and the darkly mysterious man who sets her free.
Annie, an abused woman, is on the run. Scary circumstances have her hiding in a secluded trailer park where she answers a cell phone left behind by the previous tenant. What she hears is the mysteriously sexy voice of Dylan. Back and forth calls begin and the sparks ignite into a steamy desire of two broken souls craving each other.
Brilliantly defined characters, a heart-wrenching, sweet and sexy story, and a cliff-hanger ending had me gasping and craving for more!
I loved it and really need to read the next book NOW!
Annie and Dylan are two strong characters who are tethered to their pasts. Their relationship is unique and intense. The ending made me desperate to find out what was in store for them in the second book.
I loved this so much!
One phone call. Who knew the person on the other end would turn Annie’s life upside down. And right-side up. And sometimes even doggie-style. 😉
Delicious Dylan Daniels. Holy mother-effing hotness. I want this recluse, beast of a man to call me and tell ME what to do next. Because I’d totally listen to him. Especially with that smooth-as-velvet voice and sexy as sin dirty-talking.
Phone calls, secrets, lies, cravings, deep-down desires, dark pasts, so much mystery…I couldn’t get enough of this story.
Annie is ready for change.
She needs it.
Her life depends on it.
I loved watching her confidence grow, watching her get stronger & sassier throughout the story.
The author did a fabulous job at pulling me into this story and making me experience it. She brilliantly weaves everything and everyone together – the suspense, the shady characters, the pain, the passion, the twists…all of it kept me engrossed and eager for more. Intense moments in this story had me on the edge of my seat, anxiously awaiting more. Super steamy scenes had me feeling those tingles I love. There was never a dull moment.
And the ending…wowza… it left me wanting and needing the next book. So I dove right in, because I had to have more.
I listened to the audiobook – Joe Arden & Maxine Mitchell did a great job.
Everything I Left Unsaid is complicated. The hero and heroine have real issues and real lives and a big stack of lies between them. It isn’t a secret they’re lying to one another, but when the relationship grows it becomes harder to close the gap with secrets between them. It unravels beautifully with undeniable love and chemistry winning, but even that isn’t without complications.
If you like your romance messy with so much dirty talk (the first half of the book is all phone interactions between the hero and heroine), pick this up.
Dylan and Annie pulled me in right away. Their rich and deep story keeps pulling you in until the cliff hanger ending. The secondary characters are colorful and while they are hard, they cared about each other in their own way. You only want the best for Annie after all she has been through and even though Dylan calls himself a beast and an anti-hero, you can tell at the heart he is a hero. This is a gripping story with twists thrown to keep you on your toes!
I have a horrible habit of choosing books by their cover. Sometimes it leads me on the wrong path but other times it leads to me where I want to go. “Everything I Left Unsaid” by Molly O’Keefe was written in 2015. It is the first book in the series.
Annie answered someone else’s cellphone and it changed her life. A stranger with a low, deep voice tempted her on the other line. Dylan was mysterious but he had his own secrets and darkness. Both want to meet but are nervous to meet.
This book was AMAZING to the least. It keeps you on your toes through the whole story. Annie is on the run from her abusive ex and hides in a trailer park full of unusual characters. When all of sudden a single phone call asking her to do the weirdest things start happening. The characters in this book are amazing and really capture the reader to fall in love with them. I really like how this story builds up and I can’t wait to read book 2.
I really enjoyed this novel, I couldn’t stop turning the pages until I finished it in two days. Then I read the second in the series, The Truth About Him in one night. So, you could say that I was obsessed with this series.
Dylan Daniels and Annie McKay are about as damaged as two people can be. They are both running from their lives, each in a different manner. Annie is running from an abusive marriage, from a husband that nearly killed her, a man who nearly destroyed her not only physically, but mentally and spiritually. Dylan is running from himself (the awful things he’s done in his past), he’s running from a dysfunctional family, his mother a drug addict, his father a motorcycle gang hit man, his brother now one of the leaders of that gang, and from his own sordid past. He’s truly believes that he is bad, unworthy, that the scars he bears on his body from a NASCAR car crash, are justified and nothing compared to the scars that he carries inside of him. For all intents and purposes, these two people are irreparable, lost and unredeemable. It would probably be true to say that there is little hope for them, that is until they meet each other.
It begins with a phone call, a lost cell phone, and quickly builds into a strange phone relationship of sexting. Without the emotional baggage of who they really are, they build a bond based on who they are not. The sex in this series is over the top, but not so much because there is a lot of it, which there is, but because the sex becomes the vehicle of change within them.
In a less, adept author’s hands this story might have slipped into the predictable, but O’Keefe’s writing doesn’t let you go, it draws you in and holds you. The characters are alive, unforgettable, flawed, and powerfully painted. Even the secondary characters live and breathe, you can feel their stories, their regrets, their damage, their growth.
This is a deep book, a book that examines important questions of abuse, second chances, of the difficulties of change, and the fight for forgiveness in a world that too often holds none.
Sometimes you come across a book and you read the book description and you instantly know it’s one you just HAVE to read, well for me that was totally the case with this book. I knew all along that it was going to be a good read, but I have got to admit that it completely exceeded all of the expectations I had for it! I read one paragraph and I immediately knew there was no way I could put it down until the last page was turned, so I ended up staying up way past my bed time just to finish it. And now I am sitting here trying to figure out how I’m going to survive until the next installment becomes available, that cliffhanger totally snuck up on me and literally left me breathless!
Annie flees from her abusive husband and seeks shelter in a tiny RV located in the Flowered Manor Trailer Park. She is hoping this place will provide her with the fresh start she so desperately needs, and thinks it’s isolated just enough to keep her hidden from the danger lurking in the outside world. As she’s getting settled into her new home she finds a ringing cellphone buried in the cushions of her couch, and she answers it, only to discover a sexy male voice on the other end of the phone. His name is Dylan, and he needs a little favor, in exchange for the favor he agrees to pay her a little money just to keep eyes on her elderly neighbor. It sounds easy enough for her to do, so she takes him up on his offer, not realizing she may end up getting A LOT more out of it than she bargained for…
Dylan has completely closed himself off from the outside world and has suffered enough loss in his life to know that he never wants anyone to get too close to him again, he considers himself damaged goods, and thinks he will only bring trouble into the lives of anyone that comes into contact with him. Then he meets Annie, and he begins to question everything…
This is definitely one of the best books I have read so far this year, and I cannot wait to see what Ms. O’Keefe has in-store for Dylan and Annie! You MUST add this book to your reading list, you will NOT be disappointed! It is a VERY satisfying read!
