Love. This was a great book with tips to lose weight with intermittent fasting. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the authors.
This was an interesting read. It holds a few things that I feel I could use in tweaking my current lifestyle to make it healthier. It provides a different look at diets and helps you think of how to make short term changes for long term results.

Good General Guide to Intermittent Fasting
Intermittent fasting is very popular these days, whether as a part of a keto diet or not. This book in general looks at intermittent fasting separate from keto, although the authors do briefly touch on using it with a keto diet. The book is logically organized, first looking at Basics like what it is, its benefits, and the different patterns (16:8, 20:4, 5:2, etc). Two chapters specifically look at just for athletes and women. They suggest ways to get the most benefit—including the best foods to eat, though you are not limited in that way. (IF is not a diet in that traditional sense.) They suggest starting easily and give ways to step up your fasting if you desire to as you become accustomed to it, though they don’t recommend going to unhealthy extremes. The authors get very specific about all this, which I think would be helpful for any person new to intermittent fasting or considering it. They also discuss potential pitfalls, difficulties, and side effects. They stress the importance of flexibility in choosing your preferred intermittent fasting timing; it has to be able to work with your schedule and with your existing preferences. I like that this book didn’t focus on keto intermittent fasting, as so many of them do. Intermittent fasting could be considered no matter the kinds of food you are currently eating. I think this book is a perfect introduction to the topic, so if you are considering this, you might find this a helpful read.

I have seen intermittent fasting in different books but never really read about it until now. This book explains what it is and the benefits that come from doing it. It is full of information and it is easy to follow. I am going to give it a try and see if it works for me.

I’ve noticed that Ann has done a few books I didn’t,expect and this is one. I found this book to be very informative. I have heard more about the benefits of intermittent fasting recently but I didn’t know much about the reasoning or benefits. This book tells you how to do it and why this can help with a variety of reasons to try and improve your health such as insulin sensitivity and losing weight. Great job!
