Everyone thought I was living the fairytale—marrying a prince and living happily ever after. That only happens in movies.I was actually living a nightmare. A gilded cage crushing my soul. After a terrorist attack almost took my life and my bodyguard, Lennox, trapping us together, we were forced to face things we tried to deny. Feelings we could no longer ignore.Leave it to me to do the stupidest … ignore.
Leave it to me to do the stupidest thing possible—fall for my bodyguard. But there was no fighting our hunger. Our overwhelming connection.
It made me realize how much my life had been for others: my family, the royals…Theo. But once you are part of the royal family, you cannot just walk away. Especially when you find yourself engaged and being groomed to be the future queen.
With a King threatening me, Lord William blackmailing me, my uncle gambling away what’s left of our fortune, Theo set on our future no matter what, and vicious social media sniffing around wanting me to fail, I have to play the game. But secrets always seem to find a way of getting out, and it’s not just betrayal from those I love the most that shatter my life. It’s mine.
And the world wants to break what’s left of me.
**Second book in the Royal Watch Series
more
Right I need to start this off by saying haven’t read Royal Watch the first book in this series then put this one down and read that one first BEFORE you start this one.
As Stacey left us with a cliffhanger, ah horrible one but it was good. I forgave her though as this one came out not long after the first one and she outdid herself with this one. Once I started and I picked my jaw up off the floor I couldn’t put it down. I was 100% hooked and tbh this one gave me one hell of a good book hangover after I finished it.
SMB brought the brilliant mix of drama, emotions, laughter and some serious steam to Royal Command.
Im finding it hard to write this review without raving about the bits I loved but that would spoil it for you and you simply MUST READ IT.
Well done Stacey on another brilliant read <3
***5 Stars***
What a ride!
The way Royal Watch ended was intense, but it definitely set the mood as to what was going to come next for Spence, Lennox and Theo on an emotional level as they all had to face some pretty intense truths about what they truly wanted for their futures.
Spencer, Lennox and Theo. I loved Spencer in Royal Watch, even when she drove me BSC, and watching as she grew in this book only had me loving her more. While some of her choices weren’t necessarily the right ones at times, they were hers and I really enjoyed watching as she finally started to make decisions that would make her happy, even if the cost was a high one. Lennox, the man totally rocked my world. While my heart broke for all he’d already gone through, but he lived through it and became so much more. Theo. As much as I growled at him in both books, it was hard not to empathize with all that was thrown on his shoulders. He didn’t ask to be the heir apparent and, as with all three, he was still a kid in so many ways.
A LOT goes on in this book, some of it was quite intense, but it does reflect the crazy we see in the media when it comes to the royals and celebrities all over the world and the toll it takes on all those involved. As for the secondary characters ~ Landen and Dalton were still my absolute faves. But Eloise, she’s the one I want to see truly happy, so crossing my toes that she’ll get her own HEA at some point in the future!

This author is back with the emotional, tantalizing conclusion to the Royal Watch duet. Royal Command picks up right where the previous book left off and I was immediately pulled into this novel right from the first page. This book has a lot going on in it and the author does a stellar job with character development and having the story flow seamlessly throughout the pages. Unlike Royal Watch, this book is a touch heavier on the angst and drama and there several sizzling scenes that are sure to melt your kindle.
This duet brings to mind the age old questions of “just how much are you willing to risk or sacrifice for love?” and “do fairytales truly exist?” .
Secrets, betrayals, family drama, royal intrigue, and manipulations are all coming to a head in this royal romance. Spencer remains in the unforgiving spotlight and she fears losing herself as she struggles with meeting the expectations of one living with royals. While I was frustrated with some of her unwise and at times reckless decisions, I understood where she was coming from and consider her to be a strong heroine. I feel that the author was excellent at portraying just how conflicted Spencer was, thus making her character seem more real and relatable.
As for the two men in her life, I really enjoyed how Lennox took on a more prominent roll in the book as well as seeing more of Theo. I was pleased that there was more character development with Lennox, especially as the author revealed more about his past as well as his underlying feelings towards Spencer. It is a bittersweet thing when it comes to these types of books as someone will always get hurt.
Royal Command is the conclusion to this author’s Royal Watch duet. It cannot be read as a standalone and there is no cliffhanger. As with this author’s previous books, I am impressed with her writing style and ability to weave together a story that captures my full attention. This book has so much going that I worried things would be too jumbled up, but she pulled it all together nicely. This book was relatively angsty and while that isn’t always something usually look for in my reading, I found that it worked well for this book.
Wow !!! Better than the first, if that is even possible. Amazing crazy intense love story…but not the characters you first imagine. Sad to see it end…so good !!
Wow, what a wild ride Royal Command turned out to be. With not quite being satisfied on the romance front in Royal Watch, I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. And I’m happy to say that I read this in one sitting, I was completely engaged the whole time.
First of all, I’m not even going to try and understand the expectations of being a royal, but since we get to know Spencer very well through this duet. I loved her character so much, but I also didn’t want her to lose herself.
Spencer, Theo and Lennox … their story is a complicated one, nothing about their story is easy. Everyone has their part and specific obligations, but in the end love will always win out.
While I don’t really agree with how Spencer went about things, she looked out for her happiness. And you can’t fault her for that even though so many would strong disagree. She wanted her happiness and freedom, and no one was going to keep her from getting that.
Theo, he’s a tough character. I loved their friendship more than anything, but you quickly see it changing as time goes on and there’s more pressure on him as he’s prepped to be King. I can’t even imagine what is going through his mind. But throughout the duet, he definitely lost a bit of himself and it just made me so sad to see. I hope we get to see more Theo.
Lennox, gahhhh this man is just everything! He definitely has the qualities I look for when I read a bodyguard romance. Simply irresistable. The major thing that got to me was hearing about his more recent hook-ups throughout the book, it brought more drama to the story for sure.
Stacey wrapped this duet perfectly, giving us the HEA so many of us were craving from the beginning, but also room for more stories. I hope this isn’t the last we see of the royals.

Stacey Marie Brown
Such a wonderful, intoxicating, gut-wrenching story. This one was even better than the first. I laughed, I cried, I drooled… Oh man, so good!
I’m fascinated with this author’s writing.
Royal Watch is a fantastic duet that will have you totally wanting to turn those pages at full speed.
When there is a love triangle it always makes it more unbearable to decide who is better for who. I was a little undecided if I loved Theo or Lennox more and at this point I just don’t know what to tell you….they both had great qualities. But the only one who really knew what she wanted was Spencer and she can be the only one to decide who she was more in love with.
This definitely had my heart beating triple beats.
Ms. Brown did one amazing job with this duet and I will continue on my journey to reading more from her as I am in love with her writing.
As soon as I finished reading Royal Watch I couldn’t wait for book two to be released! I absolutely had to find out what was going to happen next in this story with these characters. I had to jump back into this world as soon as I could. This one kept me glued to my kindle from the get go! I really enjoyed this story so much!
This is the conclusion of the ‘Royal Watch’ duet. Royal life is not what Spencer thought it would be, she has lost herself and does not have Theo by her side to support her. Lennox is the one who saved her during adversity, who knows and understands her, who brings out the passionate side of her. Does Spencer stay in a relationship that is safe and confined or does she thro protocol to the wind and deal with the fallout of rejecting Theo and choosing Lennox. Brown portrays the dichotomy between Spencer’s relationships with Theo and Lennox well. I was definitely team Lennox.
This book has intrigue, suspense, family secrets, and so much steam. It is a great finale to this duet.
Royal Command starts right off where it ends in book 1 Royal Watch with a cliffhanger ending. This book is full of action, secrets, betrayals, emotions, drama, heart-breaks and oh my gosh I’m fanning myself with all the hot steaming scenes that will burn your panties off.
I love reading Theo, Spencer and Lennox’s story and I couldn’t be happier with the ending. Absolutely love it and it was perfect.
I thank the author for providing a copy for review.

The final book of the Royal Watch duology.
I adore Theo but the chemistry between Spencer and Lennox is unmistakable!
This book kept me guessing things right until the end and I loved every moment of it. A fantastic series from Stacey. It was full of sweetness but there was also drama and scandal that will keep you hooked to your kindle. I loved the ending. They really deserved it.
Throughout the story, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. My emotions were all over the place.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review.
In order to read this book, you need to read Royal Watch first as this is a duet, a magnificent one by the way. Both books are definitely a top read of 2020, and you won’t regret a bit reading it.
We dive right back where we were left of in the last book, the aftermath of the terrorist attack. As Spencer and Lennox had to face their injuries, they also had to admit their feelings for each other. And after that everything is one explosion after the other, no pun intended. Everyone true colors was exposed.
I need to say, I’m 100% #TeamSpencer! She is a brilliant young women, smart, strong as hell, fierce, with a heart of gold that would everything for the ones she loves. I had my heart in my hand so many times, almost had a panic attack at other, I felt so many emotions with her journey. She had to face family secrets, blackmailing from Lord William, pressure of the public and most of all from the Royal house. I cheer out loud when she decided to be free, choosing herself, even if the country would not forgive her. I love her.
Lennox is also amazing! He also had some demons to fight and some secrets to expose, but when he decided what he wanted? There was no step back, he just want to move forward and claim his love. And let me tell you, Lennox is hot and I think my ovaries exploded with every scene of him and Spencer together! Dear lord! I adore how protective of her he was, even outside of his job.
I was absolutely devastated with Spencer’s punishment of being in and out of love with a prince, Theo, as Eloise said. The blame is all in the Royals, but also, the humanity is lost, people are so lost in the digital world that they think they can do whatever they want.
I could easily read a book with Landen’s story, he is just a sweetheart and the best friend! I could also read about Eloise story, mostly because of Dalton! And I really don’t care about Theo anymore, he is just so weak.
The ending was a huge surprise, it wasn’t what I was expecting at all, but somehow it worked brilliantly. Well, after the author almost gave me a heart attack with the first paragraphs!! Seriously! I can’t wait to reread this duet, it was perfect.
Spencer and Lennox’s story reaches it’s conclusion in Royal Command.
After the ending of book one I was on pins and needles waiting to see what would happen next. So many balls were left up in the air, but Stacey Marie Brown has written a satisfying story to wrap things up.
Spencer was frustrating at times with some of the decisions she made. She is having a hard time navigating her new life, her growing feelings for Lennox while she is engaged to Theo, and drama with her family. She is dealing with a lot all at once.
After the first book it felt like we had only scratched the surface of who Lennox is, so I liked getting to understand and know him better. He and Spencer didn’t start out liking each other much, but their bond continues to grow as their feelings change.
This is the second book in the duet and cannot be read as a standalone. I am curious if any other characters will get their own books or duets as well.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
Lennox and Spencer finally got their HEA but my goodness it was a bumpy road. They both tried not to fall for each other but couldn’t help it anymore; their chemistry was that strong. Theo was deeply hurt but he wasn’t what Spencer needed; he needed to stand up to his family. Spencer showed growth and stood her ground for lots of things. She knew what it was like when people found out about her and Lennox and she was willing to do anything for her happiness. Lennox was not about hiding Spencer any longer. She was the woman he love and consequences be damned. We do get to see more of his background and the things he endured. He was done making sacrifices for others and focused on his happiness which was Spencer. It was a bumpy, messy road but they made it.
Holy crap, Stacey Marie Brown did it again!! I liked the second one even a little more than the first one! I loved how steamy it was, I loved the ending… I don’t think there is a single thing I didn’t like about this book, or this duet, except that I’m done reading it! I think Lennox might be my new book boyfriend!
