First came the director yelling, “Action!Next came the actual acting.Last came . . . the end scene.Or at least, that was what I liked to call my job as a publicist to Hollywood’s elite. If my client hit it big, I was the one who’d made that possible. And while being on call twenty-four seven meant I was chronically single, I was fine with that. I’d been in a serious relationship once and had … relationship once and had ultimately discovered that I wasn’t cut out for commitment or being tied down or living in a small town.
I needed lights and excitement, paparazzi and enough traffic that the air always smelled faintly of exhaust.
I definitely didn’t need one Aaron Weaver—my ex-boyfriend and current occupant of my former home and very, very small town in Utah—tying me down or making me feel like the world’s biggest jerk, just because I wanted my life to be something more than open fields and cow patties.
But then I had to leave L.A. and go home to my father, to my small town . . . to Aaron.
And I discovered there might be much more to him than I’d ever expected.
In fact, I discovered that I might have missed out on the best end scene of my life by letting him go at all.

I love a good second chance romance. Elise Faber has one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride in this one. My feelings were all over the place while I was reading this book, could not put it down until I got to their HEA. Cannot wait for the next book in this series.
I always love a book where my heart aches for one of the main characters. In this book my heart ached for Maggie. Ten years ago she left Utah, and everyone she knew and loved, behind to make something of herself. However, leaving left a lot of anger in her wake and she was still dealing with that. It took an accident, a confrontation, and a lot of thinking before things could start righting itself.
Aaron was angry with Maggie for leaving him and he carried that anger with him. I initially didn’t like him or the way he treated Maggie. But once he opened his eyes and saw things from her perspective he became a man I grew to like.
I really enjoyed getting to know these two and watching them fall in love all over again. Its always wonderful when people are able to get their second chance at love. These two made my heart ache but they were able to meld it back together again. Now letters see Talbot get his own HEA. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
“This story was pure emotions. It was such and intriguing and emotional read that absolutely melted my heart. There’s always something hopeful about second chances romances and this story had it all. Elise has a unique writing style that every story is a roller coaster and this wasn’t the exception. Another great story that I highly recommend it to you!”
