This witness is more than he seems.
Jericho Alvarado has been stuck babysitting a former mob boss in Alaska for months. He’d rather be hunting down fugitives with his fellow marshals, but Damian Corsetti is no ordinary witness. He made demands the District Attorney’s office had to meet or risk losing their star witness.
And having Jericho protect him was his biggest demand.
A former heavy … former heavy hitter in the Vegas mafia, Damian knows all about the who’s who of Organized Crime. With a target on his back and so much at stake, it’s hard to know whom to trust.
When their cover is blown, they hit the road only to find out that Rio, Rake, and Carter have been kidnapped.
Together, Jericho and Corsetti, along with their most trusted friends, must work together to find them and bring down their enemies…
Or they’ll die tryin’.
The Marshal’s Mobster is the fourth book in the Yours to Protect series. Approx. 55,000 words, it is not a standalone.

I’ve been biting my nails waiting for this book and I just knew it would be awesome.
Through the previous books in the series, there’ve been short glimpses of how Jericho and Damian fared with their isolation in Alaska. There were also hints of something growing between them, so I was excited to see how that would pan out. I mean, the mobster and the marshal falling for each other? HOT!
I absolutely enjoyed watching how their forced proximity helped them let their guards down and allow one another to see their real selves. Of course, being on complete opposites of the law was bound to create problems. But, both of them had what we can call stretched moralities, neither saints because of things they’ve done in their pasts, so they had that in common.
The development of the relationship between Jericho and Damian wasn’t the only intriguing part of the book. There was still the matter of the people who wanted to take Damian out, and they also had to figure out who had kidnapped Rio, Rake and Carter, and then try to save them. It was all thrilling, full of suspense and awesome, if you ask me, because all the characters from the previous books, and some intriguing new ones, got involved in a way or another, many with special skills and ways to help. I loved how each of them were ready to throw themselves into danger, well aware of risking their lives, just so that they could eliminate whoever threatened the safety of their chosen family and friends.
My heart kept pounding as the events unfolded, anxious to see how would everyone would fare by the time everything was sorted out. I was most definitely curious in which way the author would solve the particular dilemma of Damian and Jericho’s possible future together. The solution took me by surprise, as many things did in this book, but it was one I absolutely cheered for.
As a final note, which is mostly for the author: while I really appreciated the small cameos of Fielding and Luke’s POVs throughout the storyline of this book, I would still very much love a book of their own, please and thank you.
Loved ‘ and all the books in this series, and I can’t recommend them enough.
This story is a out Jericho and Damian and you can see the attraction between them. When the families are threatened they make an unbeatable couple.
There story has action, drama and suspense. I definitely recommend this book!!!
The book can be read as a stand alone but to understand easier, it’s better to read the previous ones. I did enjoy the story of Jericho and Corseti. The mafia man is more than the eye can see and his protector on WP has had a view into that man. There’s love, lust, mafia jobs, dirty cops and so much more. The end is cathartic. The participation of the different characters and the MC is just awesome. I have enjoyed this book and will be reading more from this author.
