When you said I could never escape, I knew I would. When you told me all hope was lost, I knew it was not. When you declared you would kill me soon, I knew I would kill you first.I am Alexandria Ridley.I am a survivor. And I am coming for you!
I have read a few of Steven Moore books and he just keeps improving. A fast paced energetic read that will immerse into the story and hold you there until the end. I do not enjoy reviews that give away the storyline, so I won’t, but Read this book and others by Steven Moore. You will hooked.

But now, she’s the prisoner!
Reviewed in the United States on February 29, 2020 – Beta manuscript
Strong willed, confident, a well trained fighter, Alex is a picture of the perfect agent. Except … she’s been hijacked, trussed up, and facing an uncertain future in human trafficking. And there are other women forced into the same circumstances.
This initial series book by Steven Moore is well written, and well worth the reads. He has very successfully translated his previous works to seamlessly develop a heroine as the central figure.
I was put off by the overt use of “street language” and obvious British vulgar idioms. One ‘star’ deleted.

I, Survivor – a review by Rosemary Kenny.
The eponymous survivor is Professor Alex Ridley, who while on holiday in India, learns of evil gang lords, kidnapping foreign girls to sell at auction to the highest bidders.
Determination to stop the foul trade leads Alex in to danger, which she may not escape from alive, in the mountain caves HQ, of Kim, an unscrupulous misogynist, who drugs and enslaves Alex, trying to break her spirit and bend her to his will.
Who comes to help her save all the girls?
An exciting introduction to a riveting, unputdownable modern crime series, that is unfortunately all too real. Get your copy today!

This is the first in the series for Alexandria Ridley. If you have read any of Steven Moore Hiram Kane series then you have already met Alex.
When Alexandria is kidnapped whilst on a trip to India and is to be sold by sex traffickers but little did they know who they have taken.
Extremely fast paced and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I, Survivor is an incredibly fast-paced novella. Alex Ridley takes back her life, and freedom, after being kidnapped to be sold into sex slavery. It is non-stop action from start to finish. I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Very well written, action packed page-turner. Alex Ridley is a tough, caring heroine. However, the plot details are completely unbelievable and the f-bomb is scattered prolifically as if the protagonist (an art historian) has a tiny vocabulary.

This is the book we have been waiting for….
since “The Shadow of Kailash”. It is absolute thrilling to follow the story with Alexandria Ridley (Hiram Kane’s companion) as the main character. Alexandria is not only a very brave and strong female, she is a “hero” in the most purely essence of the word: A hero is someone who does what must be done and needs no other reason. As Alex becomes involved in the action, the reader is absorbed by the story and feels the action, the pain, the hurt and desperation every turn of the page as he was right there in Kailash right next to Alex every step of the way. She is a fantastic character and a perfect moral example to follow.
I refrain from delving into the story, no spoilers here. Just worth saying that those who already have read “The Shadow of Kailash” will not be disappointed, this is the perfect companion to that book. For those who are new to Steven Moore books (and Kailash) the book offers a perfect introduction to his writing and narrative style and can – of course – be read without any previous knowledge of the story. A fair warning, nevertheless, the story deals with hard issues such as human trafficking and sex slavery, always in a critical manner and never graphic.
The book is a real page-turner, written in Steve Moore unequivocally style, equally humorous and hard-core serious with non-stop action and deep insights into some very disturbing facts. A successful start of a new series featuring Alex Ridley.
