Twist of Fate is an insta-love story like no other. In this story, love is more than a feeling or physical attraction. Love is spiritual, and that one person becomes part of your soul. Who would not want to experience that type of love?!
The story had me smiling from page one to the last page. It is very much now and so very romantic. The characters are believable and engaging, which says a lot as this is a novella. There is even a little action. Our big city girl shows us she can handle herself, and yet, having a tall drink of sexiness kick some ass to save your honor is not at all a bad thing.
Raven is a very relatable character. She is a big city girl with a heart. Raven is tired of being alone, especially on another Valentine’s Day. Given the times we live in, many women find themselves looking for “the one” using the same means as she. Yet it was not technology that brings her man to her. It is fate. Perhaps there is a message in there for us all. The author makes love and being loved by that one right person highly desirable.
Kordell is all man and a vampire. Selene Drake gives us a fresh take on what it means to be a vampire that is so much better than the traditional version. He is supernatural and otherworldly. Kordell is not looking for love as his kind can only have one. Yet fate has other plans for his nonexistent beating heart.
The next chapter in Raven and Kordell’s life would make a great story, and I hope there is something in the works. Meanwhile, I look forward to reading Drake’s story. He is Kordell’s best friend, and he is in love with a Broadway star named Evie. Drake is not the only vampire wanting Evie. From the story blurb, one can surmise that it is about to get real in the big city! It sounds like a great next read.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength happiness and funny. The story of erotic of sensation. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

This was an instant love story which has a twist as she a spunky woman and he’s a vampire! They come together but can the two have a future? This was a quick short story but it was a wonderful storyline! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
A well written short Valentine’s story that kept me turning pages.Raven a human and Kordell’s story has a vampire who is able to connect mentally with a human and she with him. He can tell when something is not right and comes to her aid. I enjoyed reading this story and want to read Drake’s story. This is a short,fast paced insta love romance between Raven,a human and Kordell,a vampire. The author takes them on a fast pace to love when she’s looking for a date for Valentine’s Day. Their characters are strong and you can feel their emotions coming through the pages. I enjoyed watching them come together , finding an ever lasting love with each other. I’m looking forward to the next book.
