I was desperate for a job.
So desperate that despite the warnings of the company’s operations manager, I took the job of assistant to the CEO.She warned me that he put the moves on all his female employees but I could ignore that if I could pay my rent and put food on the table.Electricity jolted through me the moment we met and as I got to know him over late nights of work and long lunches away … jolted through me the moment we met and as I got to know him over late nights of work and long lunches away from the office I knew nothing, not even scheming managers, would keep me from my perfect partner.

Perfect Partner is a quick read about a boss and employee romance. It features Owen, CEO who needs a PA, and Jesse, who takes the job even though she was told he was a player even with the employees. Add in a third character, Ivy, who is second in command of Owen’s company and is using Jesse to get to Owen, and you have the perfect mixture for a great romance. I recommend this instalove novel with its amazing characters and a plot full of drama, suspense, office intrigue, twists, and steamy romance.

Office Romance
Perfect Partner is a fast-paced boss/assistant short story with some drama and office power struggles. The story is nicely written with good character development for Owen and Jesse, but let’s not forget Ivy also.

Owen and Jesse were perfect for each other in all the ways that mattered.

Owen was a self made billionaire who had achieved a lot in his young life through dedication and hard work. There was one thing missing from his life and that was a woman to share his life with, it was not something he had really thought about until Jesse came into his life. From the moment her first saw her he knew that she was just right for him. She was a normal woman as opposed to the super model looking woman his company usually hired. It was not long before Owen crossed the line with his new employee with his attraction to Jesse, but since she showed him that she returned his feelings and enjoyed spending time with him they continued to see each other both at work and at other times. When the press discovered what was happening between them he knew that he had been betrayed by a member of his own company. This was a short but engaging story of two people who were perfect for each other. Despite the fuss the press made of their relationship their love for each other spread to encompass all parts of their lives in a deep and meaningful way. Owen was not the usual billionaire, his early struggles grounded him and he thrived on growing his business. Jesse worked tirelessly along side him to achieve the same goal.

Perfect Partner is an amazing story by Kate Stone. I love the characters in this story as they are real and owne up to the mistakes, no matter the outcome.
I love how Jesse comes into Owen’s life and just her being her opens his eye to life and love. Owen shows his strength and integrity as he handles the accusations Ivy throws his way.
This is a sweet and great read for a lazy day.

This was an entertaining short story with a couple great characters. The lines of professionalism are crossed as one needs to take whatever job they can get to make rent and pay bills, right? Even if it is putting up with the CEO and his handsy flirtiness. But what if putting up with the new boss is not all that much of a hardship? Could this be more? Enjoy!

Do you believe in love at first sight? The author has written a great story on just that. Owen needs a personal assistant and his second in command hires Jesse. For Owen it’s love at first sight the minute he sees Jesse. Jesse has been told Owen flirts with all the female employees but as long as she can pay her rent and have food to eat, she can ignore his flirtations. A great office romance story with just the right amount of romance, steam, and suspense. Jesse has found her perfect match and won’t let anything, or anyone, get in her way.
A good story line and strong characters that are easily likable.

Kate Stone delivers a sweet tale of love at first sight. Owen is busy running his company when his second in command, Ivy, hires Jesse as Owen’s personal assistant. Jesse doesn’t realize it, but she was really just hired to be a pawn in a game of tug of war between Owen and Ivy. Lucky for her, Owen falls in love the moment he lays eyes on Jesse. There is a fair dose of suspense and romance, but also a decent amount of steam to heat the reader right up.
