A marriage of convenience in order to gain control over the family business is how Casey and Ryan find themselves on the private island in Alaska. In a family of vipers, Ryan is trying secure his place at the top in his father’s company and it is not an easy task. I can honestly state that I have never read a book that had so many characters that I totally despised. Ryan’s brothers, especially Joel, are absolutely horrible people. The extremes that are taken to sabotage Ryan’s attempts to gain favor from his father is outright deplorable. I love Casey’s strength and determination to put up with the insanity for Ryan’s happiness even when the situation goes beyond crazy. Their relationship is actually very sweet even for a business opportunity. They become friends even after they have some hot and sexy time between the sheets, on the sofa and in the shower. I enjoyed the intensity of their passion as well as the drama – talk about rooting for the good guy!
Fans Of The Proposal, Starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, Will Love Casey And Ryan’s Crazy Story!
Casey is barely scraping by after graduating from college. She has student loans a mile high but no job to show for her effort. To pay the bills, she has begun working as a dog walker. The next dog on her schedule for the day is Billy, a black lab whose mysterious owner hired her online. She was given one strict rule to follow when collecting Billy for walks: never go upstairs, no matter what. The owner pays her very well, which isn’t a surprise given the expensive home he lives in. But on this particular day Casey decides to risk her best-paying job when she smells smoke coming from upstairs.
Ryan Boulton is committed to his bachelor lifestyle. He isn’t interested in marriage and never wants to have kids. The oldest of six children, his insane family is enough reason to avoid settling down. His father had pushed an unhealthy competition amongst him and his brothers growing up. He has distanced himself over the last decade. Ryan doesn’t want to play the game anymore, but there is one final game that he can’t let his brothers win.
His family is uber-wealthy, as in seven generations of old money. Ryan is the only one in his family that has earned his way up the ladder, the only one who cares about the company. As the oldest, the company should unquestionably pass to him. But his father had made it clear five years ago that he wouldn’t leave the company to Ryan unless he married. Ryan has steadfastly refused. The resulting competition for the inheritance has since spiraled into chaos.
When Ryan gets the call that his father’s cancer is no longer responding to treatment, he knows he has a choice to make. His head is elsewhere when he comes across a strange young woman in his home. She claims to be the dog walker and apologizes profusely. One thing leads to another, and before long he proposes. Now he and Casey just need to survive a week at the family retreat on an island off the southern coast of Alaska while convincing his family that they are happily
engaged.
Ryan and Casey have instant chemistry in this wacky fake marriage story. Their journey will have you laughing, crying, and sitting on the edge of your seat! They make a darling couple. Casey’s down to earth and straight forward personality is a tonic for Ryan’s empty life and brokenness. It is easy to root for their HEA! Don’t forget to download the bonus scene, which picks up two years after the book closes.
Ryan and Casey’s story is a fairly quick. It is nicely written. The plot is complex considering the length. The competitiveness creates a sense of suspense. The characters are not well-defined, but instead the emphasis in this somewhat shorter book is placed upon the large cast of characters that comprise the Boulton extended family. There is little backstory for Casey, and Ryan’s is mostly confined to his family history. Their story emphasizes the present tense, yet it feels quite rich against the backdrop of the crazy family getaway. The POV alternates between Ryan and Casey. I rate this book 4.5 stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
She kind of needs a pops.
Kim is on her own for the first time and is pretty clueless. She rents a pool house in Erik’s backyard.
Erik is a single dad to a two year old daughter Annie. While I enjoyed this book, it often felt like he was raising Kim as well as Annie.

What happens when your baby daddy has a twisted secretive family? Casey is a dog walker who loves her job, even the mysterious client who tells her to never come up the stairs in his house. One day she can’t resist his orders when she smells smoke and rushes to see what is going on. She isn’t expecting a smoking hot Ryan to appear. They begin a reluctant conversation that soon turned heated and so passionate. It is them that Ryan decides that she is the perfect answer to his family problems. He needs a wife and try as she may, she can’t say not to him. This begins their steamy, although strained fake relationship. It takes Ryan’s scheming, twisted family to open his eyes to what he has always wanted, and what is leaving his island right now! Loved this!!
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book and I absolutely loved it. This family makes anyone look sane, my heart went out to Ryan and Casey, their fake relationship turned real incredibly fast, their chemistry is sizzling hot. Highly entertaining, kept me entertained throughout the story.
Casey is a dog walker in New York City. When she was hired to walk Billy, she was told never to go upstairs. When Casey comes to walk Billy, Casey smells smoke and debates whether to go upstairs or not to see where the smoke is coming from. Casey goes upstairs to check on Billy’s owner and finds something in the oven burning. Billy’s owner comes in from the patio and disposes of the burning chicken. Ryan is a millionaire bachelor whose father is sick and going to choose who will take over the business. Ryan and Casey are attracted to each other and end up having amazing sex. Ryan has a proposition for Casey. Ryan asks Casey to marry him to make him look good in his dying father’s eyes. Casey says she will do it as long as she is given 1% of the company. Ryan and Casey head to the annual family get together. Casey is unprepared for how dangerous and crazy Ryan’s family and his brother, Joel, really are. How far will Joel go to prove Casey and Ryan are faking a relationship? Can Ryan protect Casey from his family? Will Casey tell Ryan her secret before someone else learns it? How will Ryan react when he learns what Casey is hiding? Will Ryan choose Casey over his family and the family business? Can Ryan and Casey find their happily ever after. I love B.B. Hamel. I really enjoyed Baby Daddy Can’t Get Enough. Baby Daddy Can’t Get Enough has drama, danger, family feuding, hot chemistry, and a few twists and turns. I would definitely recommend getting Baby Daddy Can’t Get Enough by B.B. Hamel. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
Baby Daddy Can’t Get Enough is a stand alone fake fiancé romance. Casey is a dog walker, and when one of her clients gives her a crazy proposal, she can’t help but accept. Ryan needs a wife, fast, in order to keep his family’s company in safe hands, but he didn’t figure to fall in love with Casey. Will this trip be successful and they can go about their lives, or could something magical happen during the chaos?
I really enjoyed reading this book! Casey and Ryan have a lot of crazy things that happen to them, especially Casey, but there’s still a strong connection that forms between them that just can’t be denied. I love that Casey is bold, has no idea what she’s getting into, but is still willing to do what she needs to. I like how she relaxes with Ryan and I like that she tries to take care of herself. Ryan has a really rough family, but I like how protective he was, how he tries to please his family, but only to a certain point. Together, they made a good team, but both were pretty stubborn and both made mistakes. I liked how crazy the dynamic his family was and the drama it added was original and weird and had me flipping pages as much as the romance. All in all, I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to more from BB Hamel.
