This is book 1 in the Football Billionaire Playbook Romance series. Each book stands alone but reading them in order provides a deeper, richer experience. It is a sweet, “clean and wholesome” romance without swearing or mature content and contains a HEA. If you like faith-friendly, heartwarming, Hallmark style romance, you’ll love this feel-good series.

This is probably the strangest review I have ever written.
On my blog, Choose Life Choose Words, I list my criteria for a 4 Star Review and it is this: Did VERY LITTLE skimming. Kept me on the hook and not rushing to read the last chapter to see if the payoff was there.
Now, the above is true and therefore the book gets a 4 star from me in spite of the heroine making very little sense, the Disney World references being so off base, and quite a few grammar errors/sentence structure errors.
And the plot was completely unbelievable as was the setting in Concordia.
But I wanted to know what the deal was with Maggie and her parents. And I wanted to know what was haunting Declan from his past in Dublin. I’m also a sucker for the name Declan. That MIGHT have had something to do with it.
The Declan storyline was very satisfactory aside from the reason he met Maggie in the first place. The Maggie storyline paid off better than I thought it would in regards to her parents BUT I never felt she quite got to the place where she was letting go of what had held her back.
But I kept reading! And here I am giving it 4 stars.
Prince Charming in training
*** 4 1/2 Stars ***
Swooning over the Football Billionaire is a game winning touchdown story. This sweet, flirty and clean story was nicely written and enjoyable to read. The characters of Declan and Maggie are well developed with some history and depth to them. At first I was out on whether I liked Declan or not as I found him to be like an overgrown child who has been pampered and privileged for far to long. But once Maggie gets into working with him he finally started to grow on my a bit. Then by the end he had redeemed himself for me.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
A good, clean, fun romance. I really enjoyed reading it.
I enjoyed reading this book.
It’s an engaging & emotional romance.

a new job. It’s to be a life coach for
one the Bruisers player.
Now how can she teach Declan
to be a gentleman with manners.
And why can’t he stop thinking about
his beautiful life coach, Maggie.
A MUST READ!!
I read the third book in this series first. I was so intrigued by it that I knew I would have to go back to the beginning and read them all. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. The author put a Prologue in that explained what was going on with the four football players.
This was a wonderful story that I was simply caught up in. I loved Declan and how he came into the room when first meeting Maggie. Both characters had such endearing yet different backgrounds that I fell in love with both of them.
I adored reading this story in it’s dual POV format. This helps me to fully identify with the characters better and to understand them in any given situation.
This is a sweet, clean romance. There is a Christian undertone to the story that was very well done. I highly recommend this story to anyone.
