Could there be room for one more in this Happily Ever After? It’s been two years since Grayson and his ex-girlfriend broke up. He’s spent that time hiding in his apartment, and working up the courage to start dating men. Not that he expects to find his first boyfriend at a nightclub, anyway. He doesn’t even know how to tell a prospective date that he is a transgender man, much less does he want to … less does he want to give his heart away to the first person he meets.
Or to the first people he meets, for that matter.
But flirty, femme Marco and his suave boyfriend Demir might be just what Grayson needs. The owners of the hottest nightclub in Philadelphia, they’re living the high life, and charming every man in town. As Grayson’s feelings for both men develop, could there really be room for him, in the perfect life that Marco and Demir share? And is it possible that the hottest couple in Philadelphia needs Grayson just as much as he needs them?
An M/M/M romance with a guaranteed HEA for Demir, Marco, and Grayson. This standalone novel features lots of steam, erotic exploration, and three sweet men who face unexpected loss but find what they need in each other. Enjoy!

This was a good story about three very likable men falling in love. Grayson had never had a relationship with a man since his transition, so he was surprised when he fell for an established couple. I liked Grayson’s confidence and his honesty. Marco was flamboyant and sweet, and he was a wonderful calming influence. Demir was a workaholic, and his main goal was to make sure the people he loved were taken care of. The three of them together were hot and sweet and just lovely. I liked the men’s friends, and I loved how supportive those friends were. This was a very enjoyable read, and I’m happy to recommend it to others.
The Guy They Need by R. Cayden is a very well-done ménage I loved how each person in this ménage has a purpose. No one is left out. This book is written in Tri POV. I also liked that, I got to really sink into each man’s thinking process. In a ménage like this, I think that is very important. I loved the connection everyone has. Really makes the story leap off the pages.
Grayson a very complicated trans character. He has had quite the journey to get to be the man he is today. I loved how he is done. Nothing stereotypical about him. He is unique and completely his own person.
Marco and Demir are already a couple. They own the night club/bar that they meet Grayson in.
Marco is the cute flirty one, and Demir is the more serious down to brass tacks kinda guy. The balance is great cause Grayson brings ease to their relationship. They really need it.
Overall this story is amazingly well done. I loved it. I hope to meet this trio again in the future and see where they are. Based on how much I liked this book, I will be looking to read more from this author in the future.

This story is a first to me featuring a transgender man as one of the main characters. I didn’t know what to expect and I was really glad I read this sweet story of Grayson, Demir and Marco. Demir and Marco are an established power couple. Grayson is a transgender man, out of a relationship with a woman, when he realizes he wants to be with a man. Meeting Demir and Marco at their club, it was instant attraction and sexual chemistry. Can they make this relationship work? I learned a lot about transgender men and I feel the writer did a great job with this story!
R Cayden again showed us how he is an expert in the topic of MM+ romance with this story about how Grayson met Demir and Marco. This is mainly a love story but the author manages to insert besides the relationship part topics like transgenderism and transphobia in a very sensible and knowledgeable way, creating a very interesting and deeply emotional book. Wonderful reading!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
The Guy They Need by R. Cayden is a standalone contemporary gay romance between trio of men. Demir and Marco are an established couple that developed a connection with A third, Grayson. There are a lot of emotions in this one – some pain, loss and rejection themes covered… but there is also plenty of steam and sweet romance, a building of something great between these three fantastic characters. This is a well written, beautiful love story between three beautiful men.. and I loved every page.
