Someone has intruded on the shifter territory and I’m determined to find the truth. Alpha-in-training, Ethan, has come to me for help on the matter. I only intended to work with him. Falling in love wasn’t part of the plan. The uncertainty surrounding us might lead to destruction. And the truth about what we might find could change us both forever. This is a steamy paranormal shifter fantasy … steamy paranormal shifter fantasy romance series with a HEA and no cliffhangers.
Fans of Terry Bolryder, T.S. Joyce, Candace Ayers, Zoe Chant and Harmony Raines will like this shifter series.

Book 5 in the Moonlight Wolves series introduces us to Ethan and Hazel who have to work together to expose a threat to the shifter community from an unknown source. Gabriel continues to cause problems for all of the packs and now they have this new problem. Someone has killed a local girl and is trying to implicate the shifters by leaving the body on pack territory! Is Gabriel behind this or is this a brand new threat they have to deal with?
I really like how the author always gives us couples that initially seem incompatible but manages to show us how their individual strengths and weaknesses actually complement each other and reveal a strong, unified force to be reckoned with by the end of the book!!

Sarah J. Stone is a wonderful writer who can write a book that has the reader pulled in from the first page to the last page. This book is about Hazel and Ethan. Ethan is the Alpha for the Blue Creek pack out of Louisiana and he and a few others from his pack have come to train with the Moonlight pack because of all the attacks that Gabriel is causing. Hazel feels an attraction towards Ethan and he has one for her, but with everything that is going on with the pack and the new problem that the pack just found. Someone has killed a local girl on pack land. Hazel works for the town police department and her alpha Hann has asked her to keep them informed of any new information that comes in if she can. Hazel and Ethan both feel an attraction to the other but have not had time to see where it goes. One night after Hazel tells Ethan the information she has, she goes home, she then sends Ethan a text message and invites him over. That is the start of their relationship.
Can Hazel and Ethan find the time to explore their relationship with everything that is going on with the pack?
This book picks up where book 4 leaves off. It was a wonderful read and I would recommend it to anyone.
