A double homicide and a missing woman lead a detective to unearth disturbing secrets in this gripping thriller from USA Today bestselling author Debra Webb. It’s the worst possible time for Detective Kerri Devlin to be involved in an all-consuming double-homicide case. She’s locked in a bitter struggle with her ex-husband and teenage daughter, and her reckless new partner is anything but … is anything but trustworthy.
Still, she has a job to do: there’s a killer at large, and a pregnant woman has gone missing. Once Devlin and her partner get to work, they quickly unearth secrets involving Birmingham’s most esteemed citizens. Each new layer of the investigation brings Devlin closer to the killer and the missing woman, who starts looking more like a suspect than a victim.
But just as answers come into view, the case twists, expands, and slithers into Devlin’s personal life. There’s a much more sinister game at work, one she doesn’t even know she’s playing—and she must unravel the truth once and for all to stop the killer before she loses everything.

Detective Kerri Devlin and her new partner Detective Falco are called on to investigate a double homicide. A man and his mother-in-law were murdered in their home. But where is the pregnant wife? Is she a victim … or should she be a suspect?
BOOK BLURB: But just as answers come into view, the case twists, expands, and slithers into Devlin’s personal life. There’s a much more sinister game at work, one she doesn’t even know she’s playing—and she must unravel the truth once and for all to stop the killer before she loses everything.
This is a tightly woven plot surrounding well-developed characters. I really enjoyed how the personal is blended with the professional lives of the main characters. The action starts on the first page and doesn’t let up until the very end. It held a suspenseful steady pace amid lies and secrets that make this a real page turner.

Debra Webb knocks it out of the park again with an amazing, original thriller!
This is the first book in a new series by Debra Webb it was full of action from the start and it really did not stop until the end of the book. I can’t wait to see where Devlin and her partner goes in this series because they seem like a great match.
As for this book as a reader you have to pay attention and stay on your toes because there is a lot going on in this book. It is a really good read but a ton for the first book in a series but is one heck of an introduction to the new characters.
Trust No One gets four out of five stars from me.
This one moved along a little slower than some of Debra Webb’s other stories for me. I liked the characters and look forward to more books with Luke and Kerri and main characters. There just weren’t any real surprises or ah ha moments but it’s a good lite summer read.
3.5 stars
This is the first book in the new Devlin/Falco series. While Kerri Devlin is going through her own personal crisis, a double murder has happened and she and her new partner have been assigned the case. The pregnant wife of the victim is missing and the suspects are the elite of Birmingham. This book hooks you in the the first page and hang on for ride. With many twists and turns the story keeps you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Ms. Webb has another winner with this one.
Detectives Devlin and Falco of the Birmingham, Alabama PD, are new partners suddenly thrown into a double murder investigation of one of the most prominent families in town. Devlin is also dealing with her daughter who wants to spend the summer in NY with her ex-husband. Going though a divorce and being a cop just add to her stress level. The last thing she needs is a new partner that she doesn’t know, much less trust!!
Falco has been deep undercover for another PD for nine years with a history of not following the rules. Something about Devlin though makes him trust her immediately. Which is a good thing as this double murder and a possible kidnapping are just getting bigger and more involved by the day.
Trust No One has interesting characters and the book has a wonderfully dark and twisted plot with lots of bad guys with political chicanery, murder and more murder. The present is truly not what it seems. …..
The book pulls you in from the very first with a dramatic scene where our female lead Detective Devlin is in grave danger. The author wrote from the tight perspective of the heroine as she is faces down a bad guy while losing her grip on consciousness. The complex twists and turns make this one hard to figure out!
This book is a fast paced thriller with everything you would want in a well-written one. I highly recommend this one! Can’t wait for the next one in this series. I received an ARC of this book from the author for an honest review.
This book was awesome, It drew me in from the first moment. I love a good mystery and this one had everything in it. So so good!
Trust No One
Debra Webb
Once again the author grabs you at the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the very end. Debra Webb has a knack of leading you through a maze where you think you have found the end only to come to a road block. Devlin and Falco can’t seem to get a break, but when they work together as true partners a solution is in sight.
Another late night read in a new series.
Gripping, Thrilling , Chilling , Frightening, are just some of the feels from this Amazing Nail biting , fast paced Suspense from one of the Best authors of this genre!

This book is Debra Webb at her finest! Suspense, danger, intrigue abound as Kerri races to stop diabolical evil. Beset with issues in her personal life, Detective Kerry Devlin goes full speed to solve this case before it takes a personal turn in her direction. Highly recommend this book!!!
Debra Webb wrote book with a title” Trust No One” makes you think what is this book is going to be about ! Well that was me and I dove into it and there was two homicide detectives in Birmingham, Alabama who have there hands full. They are new partners don’t know how each other work a homicide case well here goes there first one. Detective Kerri Devlin and Detective Falco are sent to a home that is the start of this consumed cased. They find a dead husband and a dead mother in-law but they can’t find the wife who is pregnant. That starts all the questions and all the who what and where does this case work out. But also while doing this case Kerri has a teenage daughter who wants to go spend the summer with her dad. Kerri said no to that and she has a fight there and a daughter there who isn’t talking to her. Falco and Devlin start there means to finding out what really happened to the esteemed citizens in Birmingham things just seem to go in different directions and different layers.
They start with the husband business to see if there was anyone who had something again him. Then worked on there list and find more interesting things and Kerri found that some people where holding things back. The more she dug them more interesting things she found. But it didn’t stop her and her partner was right beside her helping with the contacts he had. He was finding things out as well about this City of Birmingham secrets.
This book was very intriguing and emotional also had twists in it that keeps you wondering what really happens to the last page.

Another amazing book by Debra Webb I must read for everyone who loves a page turning non stop action book loved how I felt like I was part of the story as well as I didn’t know what was going to happen in to the very last page a great summer read for all
Debra Webb’s latest suspense thriller is a blockbuster for sure! The story of Detectives Kerri Devlin and Falco is spun quickly into a web of deceit and twists that makes it hard to guess whodunit. Perfect read for fans of mystery and suspense! The thriller part comes in with the fast pace and the crimes that are committed against some of the most powerful and wealthy families in Birmingham, Alabama. I read several books at a time, but I have to say that this one was hard to put down. Kerri has a sub-plot involving her ex-husband and her rebellious teen daughter, so that made her life seem very realistic. The beginning is explosive and twists and turns around to bring you right back to where you started. Masterful plot! There were a lot of bad guys and I wasn’t convinced at times that the detectives would be able to solve the crime sprees and find the killers without getting hurt themselves. The case becomes real and personal to Kerri quickly, and Falco joins her in the quest to find the missing women before they are harmed. I loved this book! Best one yet by Debra Webb, and she really knows how to spin a good story. This one was so complex and well-written that I felt like I was actually in Birmingham and helping Kerri solve the crimes. Fans of mystery, suspense and thrillers will want to read this one and then maybe read it again to find the clues that they missed the first time.

This has got to be the most entertaining book I’ve read in a while! Does being wealthy allow you to be above the law? Do you just kill someone because they know something they shouldn’t know? Are all police personnel trustworthy? This superbly written book will make you ask yourself all these questions. When you pick this book up to read make sure you have time to read and read and read because you will not want to put it down once you have dived in! Debra Webb is an extraordinary author and I’m so glad that I found her books.
I received a print ARC from the author and this is my honest, voluntary review. Enjoy!
Debra Webb tells a story that you will not be able to guess or put down. The steady pace keeps you hanging on and doesn’t let go. Detective Kerri Devlin from Major Investigations has just acquired a new partner much to her chagrin.
Detective Devlin and her new partner, also new to the specialized department, Detective Falco, are investigating a double homicide, maybe triple if the missing pregnant wife isn’t found fast. One of the deceased is rich and comes from a family of money and power. The untouchable elite, who are above talking to detectives.
Kerri is also dealing with a 13 year old daughter who wants to make her everyday the biggest challenge ever and an ex that only compounds it. Kerri’s family is a close knit loving one that support each other failings and all. And Kerri can use all the help she can get from them with her daughter Victoria.
As the detectives search for a killer and the missing wife they find the tangled leads can lead to danger that can come close to home and seem to lead in very high places making it hard to know who to trust.
Great book! Honestly I read it in a couple days and didn’t want to put it down. I think it is well written, has very likable characters and you definitely won’t get bored or figure out the tangled web. Sad and maddening, caring and loving are all touched on emotions when reading this book. One of her best yet. I hope there will be more with Kerri and Falco. If this is your genre” you will want to read Trust No One.
Thank you Debra Webb, NetGalley and Thomas and Mercer for this ARC this is my totally honest opinion of this book.
Detective Kerri Devlin in one of the top detectives in a best-of-the-best group detectives in Birmingham. She has earned her reputation and is respected among her peers. When she gets a new partner with a dubious background, she’s not sure it’s all going to work out. But through the investigation of this case, Kerri and Luke learn that you shouldn’t judge a person by what you hear about them.
When a prominent member of the community is murdered in his bed, and his wife goes missing, Kerri and Luke have to unravel the clues to figure out just what is going on. Falco doesn’t hesitate to use his old contacts and Kerri’s family problems intertwine with the case. The case wasn’t obvious to this reader, although I did guess a few things along the way, but that’s the whole fun of reading a story like this one.
Trust No One contains a complicated crime and two very likeable characters in the lead roles. I like that everything wasn’t completely resolved by the end of the book. I’m looking forward to more in this series.
