Felecia and Dean has like most couples, experienced their share of pain. Especially, when their marriage was almost destroyed by her acts of jealousy and a jealous rage that caused him to finally decide to leave. The pain was almost too much for them both to bear. But for Felecia, it seems that life and a secret has threatened to disrupt their happy marriage and home again.
Dean, understands one thing…he never wants to put his wife in a position of her past. It’s his job to take care of her physically, mentally, and spiritually. And when it seems that his way of protecting her, was done deceit to him, but not in order, he prays that grace will cover them from going back to their place of pain.
Will Felecia find sufficient grace to forgive and understand? Or will she step back into the pain of her past, failing to remember—they both have been sufficiently graced after the pain?

Graced after Pain was a touching read, I was able to relate to a good portion of this story. This book had me in deep thoughts about different aspects of marriage and what I could improve on to insure that I am doing everything as I should as a saved wife. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and this book is full of those, Dean and Felecia went through some things but with the help of God everything turned out just the way it was supposed to. Great story that really inspired and taught me lessons.

Past trust issues, jealousy, pain and hurt can destroy a marriage and relationship if you let it. But with forgiveness and understanding you can restore your marriage again. A wonderful, clean, wholesome story that is written with such detail it keeps you turning the pages.

The first book in The Power/Rebirth series a book that kept me turning pages I had to know how things would work out for this couple. Sometimes when we are are hurt by past relationships, we must learned to heal from them before we move on to someone else. This is what happens between the two main characters Felicia and her husband Dean.
Felicia is holding so much pain, hurt, anger, and have trust issues because of her catching her first husband in their bed with her best friend. Instead of her clinging to God’s Word and get counseling, she turns away from God and the church. Now she has remarried again to Dean who is a godly man that is treating and loving his wife the way God’s Word said, because of her past hurts Felicia is constantly accusing Dean of being secretive and cheating on her. She goes through his cell phone, wallet and always calling him if she feels he is out with another woman. Dean finally gets tired of what Felicia is doing to him so he leaves her.
I love this new book by the author and every time I read a book by her, I learn a life lesson from the storyline. I highly recommend this book to read especially if you want to see if Dean and Felicia can repair their marriage or perhaps it is too late.

The story was beautifully written, the plot flowed smoothly from page to page and the characters were written with such great detail and depth! As I turned each and every page I felt like I could feel the pain, hurt and every other emotion that Felecia and Dean went through!
Because of past trust issues, Felecia has a problem trusting her husband Dean, even to the point of almost destroying their household and marriage. The question becomes will their marriage survive?
Although this book is a little more steamy than her normal books, Pastor Scroggins still keeps it holy and sanctified. The story will have you re evaluating your personal relationships and will give you a lot of spiritual nuggets. There are also themes of forgiveness, surprises and restoration throughout the story. A true example of how to truly fight for your marriage. I loved every part of this story.
