Terry is done with Maggie. In the bedroom, she’s the perfect sub but she’s too stubborn to let him take care of her outside of the bedroom. He’s done everything he can to make sure she’s safe and happy, but she fights him every step of the way.And he’s done.Until she needs his help. He can’t refuse but once he’s taken care of her at her weakest moment he has to flee. He has to quit seeing her. … quit seeing her. It’s the only way for him to protect his heart and he can’t lose another family. He’d never survive.
Maggie is fed up with Terry’s overbearing ways. He just won’t listen to her. He doesn’t even try to understand that she needs to be able to take care of herself. She can’t rely on another man.
But when he helps her again he wedges himself firmly in her heart. Too bad he’s running away as fast as he can.
Will she be able to convince him that taking a chance on love is always scary but definitely worth the risk?

Terry And Maggie’s Story Turns Angsty As The Divide Between The Couple Becomes A Deep Chasm.
His Submission is the third of three parts in The Dom’s Submission.
Terry and Maggie’s story brings together two very real characters, lonely in their own ways, who both need rescuing. The first part is the story of Terry’s seduction of Maggie. The second is the story of Terry and Maggie’s struggle to define their relationship. Terry’s crass comments and Maggie’s stubborn independence create an enticing tension, while Terry’s friends are heartily entertained by his jealousy and sudden change in taste, making him an easy target for their jests
The third installment of Terry and Maggie’s story turns angsty as the divide between the couple becomes a deep chasm. At the close of book two, Maggie discovers that Terry bought her house and a horrible argument results in uncertainty about their relationship status. This story opens the evening after and finds Terry in the club draining the scotch, numbing himself so he can get the nerve to approach a woman and move on from Maggie.
Bound by their pasts, neither can cross the divide that separates them without hurting themselves. Terry is paralyzed from the loss he experienced following his divorce years ago, while Maggie struggles to maintain her independence and minimize her vulnerability following her recent divorce, a task complicated by the fact that she is a single mom of three young children. Taking a time-out for self-evaluation is necessary, but not without its own risks. The couple eventually earns a touching HEA!
This story is a quick read – short and sexy, angsty and heartwarming. The tone is much more serious than the first two installments of The Dom’s Submission. The POV alternates between Terry and Maggie, though much of the story belongs to Terry, who has silently suffered for years. It is written in the third person. The plot is light but sufficiently developed. The characters are nicely developed given the length, although it would be nice to know more about Maggie. Terry’s friends from La Petite Mort Club play an important supporting role for both Terry and Maggie. I rate this book four stars.
This is the third book in this series. I have liked each of the books enough to get all three. I am not big on cliffhanger endings but this one was worth my hanging in till the end. Honestly I wasn’t a big fan of the characters when the story started but they kept me intrigued enough that I got all three books. They are well written and the characters develop over time. I do encourage you to get all three, they are worth it. This book completes the story and it was a great ending. This is a BDSM story so please remember this when buying these books.
Although Maggie and Terry have a great time in the bedroom once they start to discuss other matters then they hit a roadblock. Both are stubborn and neither wants to compromise. Maggie is getting to know Terry’s friends and the other women as everyone sees what Maggie and Terry can’t see – how much they mean to each other and need each other. The author has done a superb job with this entire series and you really do need to read all 3 books as you do not want to miss a single word of this story. There is so much emotion in this final part of the story as Maggie and Terry are really fleshed out and they work together so they are able to have a fulfilling relationship for the both of them. This is an excellent series and a must read for anyone who loves their BDSM with a brilliant story.

This book is the perfect ending for the story Maggie and Terry. I loved to see the evolution of Maggie, trying to accept the love of such a dominant man.
Really my favorite of the trylogy.
D/S is a partnership and our couple are still struggling to find the balance. Both parties have to be willing to risk all in order to gain all.
This is book three in this particular story arc and I recommend reading them in order to understand the characters and to get the full effect of the narrative.
This is an erotic story with a focus on BDSM and D/S. Our hero is an experienced dom, our heroine a newbie. They are good in the bedroom, but struggle in real life. Both are so busy trying to avoid mistakes of the past that they can’t get past the new hurdles in front of them.
The story is very well written and easy to read, with a well developed setting and strong characters. By now we know our characters pretty well and, while we may still want to yell at them to pay attention, they have grown on us and we want them to succeed. But you will have to read the story for your self to find out if they ultimately make it work.
It was a rough read at times (emotionally), but I found it to be a very satisfying ending. I was happy to have read the entire trilogy together to reach the conclusion of the arc.
Highly recommended.

The tension between Terry and Maggie builds both sexually and temperamentally. Seems like they’re never on the same page, one always telling the other to just go and then both of them being miserable. The story built to such a crescendo it had no choice but to explode and when it does, it was heartbreaking and glorious. This was the perfect ending.
Yeah! I like HEAs…even with all the angst and drama, it is worth it! I learned a little about men and ponytails…interesting

A great ending.
Will Terry listen to his friends or maybe to the good advice Desiree has given him? Terry is not the only one being way too stubborn Maggie is too and it is causing so much pain. One thing I have to say is the Terry is one sweet guy and a great one to have in your corner. Terry and Maggie are wonderful characters. So much happens in this part and the ending well it is just right. Love the book adored the series. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I loved every minute!!
This is Terry and Maggie’s final book and a wonderful conclusion. It picks up exactly where book 2 left off. Will Terry and Maggie finally find their HEA or will they decide to walk away? This was a heart wrenching read and I loved every minute!

Things are looking bleak for Terry & Maggie. Their last breakup in book 2 was intense & seemingly final. And both Terry & Maggie are completely miserable apart but don’t see anyway to be together again.
Yet Terry has suspicions about Maggie’s ex & after investigating him, Terry has news for Maggie. A perfectly logical reason to go see her.
But a raging flu derails Terry’s best laid plans & manages to bring he & Maggie together in mutual need & support. But will it last?
The author continues her excellent & concluding portion of Terry & Maggie’s journey. It’s emotional, heartwrenching & heartwarming, intensely addictive (for this reader at least) continues to flesh out both main characters. We see them grow emotionally, working to overcome past insecurities & hurts, to open up & share deep private pain as well as frightening feelings in order to shed light & hope that their ‘arrangement’ just may become a relationship.
Again, there is sizzling heat, depth of emotion, intense interactions & wonderful characters this reader loves.
An awesome conclusion to a stellar story!

This is a review of all 3 books in The Dom’s Submission series, His Sub, His Mission and His Submission. I read the other books of the La Petite Mort Club series, Nic’s and Patric’s stories and this one was just as brilliant as the others were. Is she his little rabbit? Maggie isn’t your tall, leggy supermodel type, in fact she is petite, lush, curvy, well into her 30s, divorced mother of 3. Enough to send any guy running. What she most certainly isn’t, is a one night fling. Yet, Terry a dominant, handsome, rich, experienced alpha male in his 40s can’t seem to stay away. Maggie is financially destitute, while Terry thinks all problems can be solved by throwing money at it. Money however can be a touchy subject in any relationship, let alone in one involving a proud, wronged woman with a lot of insecurities and responsibilities. Add to that a way too ‘ honest’ – some might very well call it opinionated, determined, brash, tactless – alpha dom and the situation between Maggie and Terry, not surprisingly time and time again comes to a volatile head. Their characters, as well as those of the supporting cast were very well developed and described by the author and I have to commend this book, like I did with the others for the excellent editorial and proof-reading achievements. The book is in no way levitating on the reals of the millions that some of the characters possess but Maggie’s circumstances bring this book to a realism that many readers can, if not identify, but at least appreciate and sympathise with. Neither of our lovers want to fall in love, but love has a way of creeping up on you whether you like it or not. Both our main characters are likeable and I was on the edge of my seat rooting for them to put aside their insecurities, take a chance and give in to the love and sense of belonging they feel for each other. We do get the HEA we the readers love. The book also gives us an example of friendship that the group has for one another and having their backs in times of need. I would most highly recommend this scorchingly steamy sexy book with a human approach.

Reading this makes you want to want to be submerged in a relaxing tub with candles and wine and the door locked. The raw sensual emotions that flow thru the pages makes it almost as if you are there. The ups and downs, the insecurities touch you. Extra baby weight, saggy boobs, cellulite, the endless question of am I pretty enough. Each character compliments and enhances the story.
