First book in a new short story series, it kicks off with action. It might only be short but you still fall in love with these characters, I especially loved how Crane quickly realises that Faya has had a tough life and been abused during it. He quickly starts protecting her from all but himself instead of killing her to shut her up. She soon starts to realise that Crane has a good side and that side is all hers. Great story it might be short but has plenty packed in to make it worth reading, I for one cant wait for more.
Awesome story, it hooks you in and keeps you there to the end. Contains some violence and explicit sexual content but all in context to the story. I have already pre ordered a copy of this book but received this as a prize in a competition which in no way affects my review. I enjoy this authors books she always gives me an exciting and interesting book and this one is no exception. Always surprising and different, I love the cover it gave me a good idea of how the main character looked so I didn’t just have to use my imagination which is nice. The female character is quite feisty and really suits Ronin’s as he is the Prez of this MC, she isn’t going to take any crap from anyone. This is the second book in this series into the Paranormal world mixed with MC and so far is a win-win as far as I am concerned.

OMG how does this author manage to keep surprising me and each book getting better than the one before, when the one before was already fantastic. Honestly I loved Jodi and Bark, the connection is instant between them. I was sucked in and my attention held from the first to the last word, it could have gone on and on for all I cared I still would have been reading it. So good, interesting and intense with a small amount of violence and some swearing. It also contains some sexual content that is all in perspective to the story. I honestly end up reading these books so fast because I’m waiting for each one to come out, full of excitement and wonder at what the authors has created every time, then I’m upset because I finished it and have to wait again. FABULEOUS more please.

This is a bit different from most of the MC stories It isn’t overly long or to deep, there is a little violence but again nothing to graphic or extreme. It is a lot more of a love story and is mainly just the two main characters, there are a few minor appearances by others but only for moments at a time. I enjoyed the slightly lighter feel to this, it makes a change sometimes for it to not be quite so heavy or detailed on the darker side of MC life. Saying that there is still a few threats and stuff to keep it interesting and not make it to sappy, which some love stories can be. I read this first as part of the From Paris With Love Anthology but also buy once released on its own. Very enjoyable read with enough plot to keep you invested in reading and characters you will fall in love with.
Not very long which is a shame because I loved this story and would have liked it to be a bit longer. The action starts at the first page and the sparks start flying between the two characters, you can almost feel the heat. This contains explicit sexual content and some violence, for me this was just a teaser book, it got me all excited and ready to settle in for a long read but I finished it before I could do that. I just sped through it so easy and smooth, engrossed in reading and came to the end in a blink, that left me sad because I know I now have to wait again before I get more not just from this series but this author. I may just have to find time to do a re-read from her first book
Esther E Schmidt’s Gust, wow straight in with some drama. Action, threats and love all come on top of each other in this fabulous short read. These characters are all loveable, alpha and very protective of their women, they also fall fast and deeply. I look forward to more from these in future books.
