The second book of the Discworld series really starts to grab Pratchett’s voice. There are so many moments where I laughed out loud, and Death’s personality starts to evolve into the character so many people know and love. It’s always a fun adventure to dip into these books

I decided to re-read all of the Disc World novels. This is almost a two part story with the Color of Magic – and it’s good it a bit drifty. I can definitely see how his craft improved in the later books, but this is still amusing. And as always, no one writes sentences like Prachett.
