And the beautiful, but broken Maisy is just begging for it.After joining a gym, a steamy night with Maisy’s personal trainer leads to more heartbreak when he tells her they can never be an item. This was a super cute, (almost) insta-love story with a great personal growth angle. Coming out of a bad relationship with a controlling, verbally abusive jackass, Maisy picks up her life and starts over. Relocating and deciding to change her life, she joins a gym and thanks be to the gym gods is paired with uber-hot gym owner and trainer, Carter. Carter and Maisy have instant chemistry and when her energy wanes, he has delicious ways of motivating her. This was an adorable, quick read.

Maisy starts off as verbally abused and beaten down. But, she meets Carter and starts to become the person she should be. This was a quick read and is a sexy and sweet book.
Training Maisy was a great steamy, hot read! Maisy needed a new start after leaving her abusive ex moved to make a new start. She joins a gym and falls for her trainer. He has very creative ways to help her! This book has everything you want in a romance! I recommend it to everyone!
Leaving an abusive relationship and beginning brand new is exactly what Maisy needs. Another man in her life? NO!! Especially not Carter, gym owner, personal trainer, and the perfect man for her…. NO, just NO!!
Well you know how well that works out, right? This book is a short read, but it’s well worth your time! Carter and Maisy are great characters that Samantha brings to life. I really liked this story. Well done Samantha!!
This was a good quick read. Maisy needed a fresh start after leaving an abusive relationship so she left her job and best friend and bought a house. She decided to join a gun and is gobsmacked by the gorgeous owner, Carter who is going to be her personal trainer. He works her hard and when she doesn’t give it her all he starts spanking her – and she likes it! They start having a sex only relatiobship, but she falls in love with him. When she tells him he says he does not return her feelings so she leaves him. Carter finally realized he loves her and proposes to her at his gym.
Maisy needs a new start and an improved self esteem, thanks to a verbally abusive ex. She’s hoping that moving to a new town and joining a gym may do the trick. What she didn’t expect was to fall in lust with her personal trainer.
Personal trainer and gym owner Carter doesn’t do relationships. He does, however, like a bit of domination and kink. He never crosses the line with his clients no matter how many have come on to him. But, there is something about Maisy he just can’t resist.
When he threatened to spank her for not trying hard enough, Maisy thought he was joking . . .but he wasn’t. And, maybe she liked it a bit more than she thought she would . . . especially when he praises her efforts and calls her baby girl.
Neither is looking for a relationship, but with their off the charts attraction, they can’t keep their hands off each other. When they both start having feelings, however, things go all kinds of wrong. One is ready to declare their love and the other is ready to shut things down not willing to give a real relationship a try.
Being apart, however, isn’t what they want either . . . can they find a way to move on with their lives apart or will they be able to reconcile their feelings for each other they never meant to have?
Training Maisie was a fun read! It was a whole lot of insta-lust and not too much substance, but I was totally okay with that because it was a light hearted and sexy read readers can easily escape into for a few hours.
I loved watching Maisy gain confidence not only in her self image, but in her self worth as well. And, watching Carter go from fearing commitment to wanting a relationship was just plain fun.
Training Maisy was smokin’ hot and highly entertaining. 4 stars
This was one of the cutest storylines I’ve ever read, but it was also really empowering! Maisy left her job and friends and moved away after she became fed up of an abusive relationship. Wanting to start over fresh and prioritize herself, she decides to sign up for a gym to start getting back to her old self. At the gym, she gets paired up with Carter, the owner, as a personal trainer. Much to Maisy’s shock, there is chemistry between the two, and throughout the course of their training, they develop and act on those feelings. When Maisy’s ex shows up in town after being rejected by Carter after letting him know how she feels about him, we wonder if she will fall back into her past or push through and fight for herself. This was my first Samantha Morgan read but definitely won’t be my last!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I need a bucket of ice after reading this sexy, sinful, and utterly satisfying book. I’m ready to jump out of bed right now and get a gym membership in hopes of having a raunchy workout romance like Carter and Maisy. Like holy hell, who knew working out could be so fun and rewarding. This book is everything.
Maisy just got out of a bad relationship with a complete douchebag and she’s decided to pick up her life and move out of the city in hopes of a new and better life. But even though Eric is gone, his hateful and crude words regarding her weight have her rethinking her confidence. When she decides to join the gym she is instantly gobsmacked by the gym hottie who turns out to be Carter, her new trainer. As Maisy and Carter begin working together, steam begins to form and soon they are working out each other instead of with each other. The physical chemistry between Carter and Maisy is hot and heavy, but will Maisy get over her past to form anything more? Maisy is always running from Carter, but will Carter run from his feelings for Maisy?
Maisy is such a relatable heroine and she will have you watching along her journey waiting for her to figure out that she is enough and her opinion of her body is the only one that matters. I was also excited to see her being appreciated by a man for who she is after Eric had been the biggest jerk to her for the last two years. She more than deserved a man to sweep her off her feet. And damned if I’m not glad it was the sexy, muscular, god, Carter.
Carter is training Maisy in so many more ways than one. He’s dominant in his workouts and in his seductive evenings with Maisy, but he also has a softer side that you see in small glimpses. His sweet phone calls with Maisy or bar banter with Jesse, had me wanting to get even more insight into what was going on in the brain of this character. He will 100% leave you wanting more!
Samantha Morgan is a seductress and has me completely hot and bothered after Training Maisy! I honestly don’t know what I was expecting of this book, but I do know that it completely stunned me and brought me to my knees. Training Maisy is hot, heartfelt, and will leave you with all the feels!
Maisy is looking for a fresh start after ending a bad relationship so she moves to Ashborne and bought a home. She joins a gym because she can’t forget how her ex put her down and she really wants to tone her body some. She meets Carter at the gym and he sends her fleeing because he awakens things in her she thought were dead. But she gets up the next day and goes back to the gym to start over again. Carter is surprised to see Maisy again but more than willy to help her work out. The more time they spend together the harder it is not to act on their attraction to each other. When she is ready to give up during a work out he smacks her bottom and it gives her the added push to get her through the work out. Soon they are more than work out partners and Maisy couldn’t be happier. However Carter is wondering if things with Maisy are really what he wants and decides to end thing with her right when she admits her feelings for him. Will Carter see that Maisy is the one for him? Can Maisy see that she doesn’t need a man to complete her?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
These short, quicker reads are so refreshing, especially this one. It’s a story of a woman who gets a second chance. The way the situations work themselves out is pretty magical. I loved the characters and the plot the author wrote. The scenes she writes will light the pages on fire in front of you. I recommend this book to any romance reader!!!
Maisy is looking for her second chance. She meets someone special at her gym after a crappy relationship. Their feelings develop and they continue to grow. Circumstances and the past comes back to haunt them, but it’s all figured out and sorted and life goes on. They get their HEA.
