To Madden a Marquess
She saved his life, but can she save him from himself?
Hunter, Marquess of Aaron, has the ton fooled. Outwardly he’s a gentleman of position, with good contacts, wealth and charm. Inwardly, he’s a mess. His vice—drinking himself into a stupor most days—almost kills him when he steps in front of a hackney cab. His saviour, a most unlikely person, is an angel to gaze at, but with a tongue sharper than his sword cane.
Cecilia Smith dislikes idleness and waste. Had she been born male, she would already be working for her father’s law firm. So, on a day when she was late for an important meeting at one of her many charities, she was not impressed by having to step in and save a foxed gentleman rogue from being run over.
When their social spheres collide, Hunter is both surprised and awed by the capable, beautiful Miss Smith. Cecilia, on the other hand, is left confused and not a little worried by her assumptions about the Marquess and his demons. It is anyone’s guess whether these two people from different worlds can form one of their own…
To Tempt an Earl
Hamish Doherty, Earl Leighton is having a terrible Season.
A portion of his home burned to the ground, he was attacked outside a gaming hell, and a debutante he cannot stomach is determined they’ll wed. It’s enough to make any lord head for the hills, but his luck turns worse in the country. A large unpaid bill at an inn and a missing purse later, he’s ready to concede defeat to the fickle Fates – until rescue unexpectedly comes from an intoxicatingly beautiful stranger.
As the daughter of a successful tradesman, Miss Katherine Martin has no time for peers and their problems. However there is something about this handsome and yet unlucky earl, and when their paths cross again, Lord Leighton offers to repay his debt to her in any way she pleases. Katherine decides one night in his arms will be just right, and yet as two kindred souls find passion together, it seems one night won’t be enough. But can a woman of no rank and trade in her blood be enough to Tempt an Earl?

Couldn’t get through the last book. The characters are so incredibly two dimensional and stereotypical. I’m ancient at 26 and work so no one will ever love me until the one day I put on a nice dress and change all their minds. Barf. The other two were entertaining time passers.
To Bedevil a Duke
Darcy de Wolfe is determined to enjoy widowhood, and refuses to mourn a man she grew to loathe. Setting the ton ablaze, Darcy holds a ball to re-launch herself into Society on the anniversary of his death. Cameron, the Duke of Athelby plays by the rules. Always. He’s lived through the terrible consequences of what revelry, carelessness, and lack of respect for one’s social position can have on a family. When the Duke of Athelby chastises her at every turn, reminding her of her social failures, well, there is only one thing to be done about it, seduce the duke and show him there is more to life than the proper conventions set by the ton.
Another page turning, engrossing read which once again I was loathe to put down & read it in under a day The characters are very well portrayed, Cameron & Darcy were both strong characters & whilst they professed to not liking each other their attraction sizzled. This story is a lovely twist on the norm, it’s the woman who’s experienced & wanting to do as she wishes & the hero is the virgin waiting for marriage & to begin with he’s so strait laced. I love the author’s books & this doesn’t disappoint.

When their social spheres collide, their witty banter is a joy but Cecilia has no time for members of the ton who she thinks are lazy & uncaring, Hunter is fascinated by Cecilia & contrives through mutual friends for them to meet occasionally. Their attraction is so apparent but they are like chalk & cheese. Another delightful read from the author which I devoured in an afternoon, the characters have plenty of depth & whilst parts are light hearted romance other parts deal with alcohol addiction & the lack of women’s rights.

Hamish Doherty, Earl Leighton is having a terrible Season. An unpaid bill at an inn and a missing purse. A portion of his home burned to the ground, he was attacked outside a gaming hell.
Luckily he’s rescued at the inn by an intoxicatingly beautiful stranger. As the daughter of a successful master builder, Miss Katherine Martin has no time for peers and their problems. However there is something about this handsome and yet unlucky earl, and when their paths cross again, Lord Leighton offers to repay his debt to her in any way she pleases. Katherine decides one night in his arms will be just right. However Hamish is adamant that he can’t go through with her wishes but the more the pair meet the harder it is to refuse.
A lovely romance of love between the classes & some of the trials they have to withstand, I don’t see Kat inviting her mother in law to tea any day soon! I read this engrossing short book in an afternoon & was drawn in from the very first page the characters are very well drawn, some very likeable & some horrid. Hamish & Kat are attracted to each other from the beginning but he’s terrified of losing another loved one in childbirth & she has very low self esteem. Their way to their HEA wasn’t easy but it did make for a lovely read.
I read these books individually but so pleased they have been put together in a box set
To Bedevil A Duke:
To Bedevil A Duke by Tamara Gill was awesome! This book not only had a great storyline, but Tamara made her characters come alive! It was an amazing read and a little (or should I say a lot) steamy…. Just the way I like it! This book has trust, pride, loss, deception, scandal, adultery, hurt, different wants and needs, friendships, freedom, attraction, a virgin, needs love and so much more! I really loved this book and I highly recommend it! Travel back in time to 1805 London with Darcy deWolfe and Cameron, the Duke of Athelby.
To Temp An Earl:
Great Read by Tamara Gill! To Tempt An Earl is book 3 in the Lords of London series. If you have never read a Tamara Gill book before now, you are in for a real treat. Though in a series it can be read as a standalone. Tamara has such wonderful characters, although a regency story, I could really relate to it in the present. It is an easy read and a most enjoyable one at that. This story is very creative and original and I know you will enjoy it as much as I did. Tamara has a true talent for writing and I cannot wait for the next book in this series to be released. This story has friendships, misunderstandings, honor, scandal, a fire, an overbearing mother, a loving father, innocence, insecurities, a rescue but can an aristocrat truly marry a commoner? You will just have to read the amazing story to find out and I highly recommend that you do.
***This book was gifted to me and I am voluntarily reviewing.
Review for To Madden A Marquess only
The story revolves around a barrister’s daughter, Cecilia and the Marquess of Aaron, Hunter and their attraction to each other. They met when Cecilia saves his life (from being run over by a carriage while he is drunk) and later when the London Relief Society requests to purchase a piece of rundown property to start a school for orphans. Hunter has plans to turn this building into a gentlemen’s club for the working class and refuses to sale. Hunter is attracted to her and the more he is around her he believes she would suit him as his mistress, which she finds totally unacceptable. There are a lot of events that occur throughout the story that makes it a good read and there is a HEA but there are a lot of hurt feelings before this comes about. It is well written and I would highly recommend this book.
An exciting collection of books that will keep you entertained for hours! Plus what can be better than A Duke, A Marquess and an Earl?
To Bedevil A Duke
London 1805. What’s a woman to do when her wastrel husband dies in the arms of a harlot? Have fun and be a little wild. Darcy was determined to enjoy herself after her mourning period is over and pushes the boundaries. Holding a ball to bring herself back into society she finds Cameron, the Duke of Athelby pushing her to stay within the respectability norms. But Darcy is determined to not let a man rule her life anymore.
A fast paced novella that will keep you smiling while warming your heart at the end.
To Madden A Marquess
What happens when a working class Bluestocking and a rake on the way to destroying himself tangle? One heck of a great novella! Saving Hunter, the Marquess of Aaron from getting run over by a hack due to his inebriated state, Cecilia got little thanks! But as they run into each other the next day, fate seems to have stepped in. She wants to buy a building for an orphanage and school that he owns. He is determine not to sale it. Full of witty dialogue and strong characters I had to read through this in one sitting. Just could not stop until I finished. But the question is can these two people from different classes ever be happy?
This story was really very touching and emotional. On the outside Hunter was just a rogue but due to his alcoholism, the good was hidden. Take this wonderful journey of redemption and love that will fill your heart with joy. Cannot wait for more of this series.
To Tempt and Earl
A delightful story that brings two unexpected people together who might have not met under normal circumstances. Tamara Gill excels at creating compelling characters with wonderful dialogue that holds you captive as you read her stories. Hamish, the Earl of Leighton has been experiencing one bad thing after another. His home has burned, he was attacked and robbed and he is trying to avoid the marriage mart from a girl who is determined to snag him!
But is his luck going to change as he goes to the country to retreat? No, it really doesn’t and this is when he comes in contact with Katherine, daughter of a rich tradesman. Katherine is what I love all heroines to be.. Strong, determined and knows what she wants and usually that has nothing to do with the peerage. But she helps Hamish and in the end only demands one thing from him.
What is that you say? You will have to read and find out how this couple from entirely different backgrounds find they are attracted to each other.
Another excellent addition to the Lord’s of London series!
I read each of these books as a standalone but together they are fantastic!
