Kaida Galloway has dreamed about him all her life. Her mysterious stranger, a man who’s not real, yet knows everything about her—including the weird anomalies she’s dealt with since a teenager like her ability to manipulate water. When a letter arrives from a birth mother she’s never met, she jumps at the chance to get answers. Heading to Six Fates Island, she discovers she has two sisters … who’ve, apparently, been waiting for her. They seem to think she’s a key to unlocking a centuries-old curse. Oh, and that she’s a witch. As if that wasn’t crazy enough, the man of her dreams is, in fact, flesh and blood. And their chemistry is creating some serious magic.
Destiny waits for no one…
Brady Meath’s childhood was steeped in island lore. One of his ancestors killed a Galloway during a witch trial, and for three-hundred years, the two households have been at odds. Legend states when three-by-three from each family are born, the spell that has riddled both lines with the inability to find and keep love can be broken—if they can join forces in performing fated tasks. Brady and his brothers never believed the myth. Until he comes face-to-face with the very woman who’s haunted him in sleep. And her powers. Now they’re in a race against the clock and fighting a brotherhood of hunters to fulfill their part or future generations are doomed. The first task belongs to Brady and Kaida, but Fate can only take them so far. Can love do the rest?

This is a very good story and a good start to a new series with a unique premise. I really enjoyed the characters and can’t wait for the rest of the series.
A paranormal tale about two families and how their ancestors caused their families’ lives/destinies to be controlled by a witches curse. An intense and emotional tale of destiny and magic full of twists and turns with romance, mystery, drama, misunderstandings, and friendships. Book 1 is Kaida’s and Brady’s story – a story you won’t want to miss reading and will find to be a definite page turner. Highly recommend
A modern day story of witches, curses and family. It begins in 1718 at a witch burning, and follows the results of this terrible action through hundred’s of years of history. Three sisters, and triplet brothers have the opportunity to change their future, but it won’t be easy. The Meath’s and Galloway’s first have to accept their destinies.
Kaida Meath knew she was adopted, but nothing about her biological family. She is a history professor teaching Paganism and modern Wiccan practices.
She has had infrequent vivid dreams of a friendship through the years of a boy named Brady. He always made her feel settled. As she has grown into a young woman an attraction begins, she wishes she could pursue. A letter from her birth mother sends her to Massachusetts and Six Fates Island.
There she finds her two sisters, and triplets, one being Brady. Her family history unfolds before her and she learns about her powers and the need for action.
Brady Galloway is the Town Historian, and knows the Meath/Galloway history well. He also remembers every dream with Kaida and their growing feelings. Seeing her standing in front of him nearly stops his heart. The “curse” that was placed on his family is still strong. Never have they ever found true love. It seems a lot of hocus pocus, until some strange forces seem to be gaining strength. Brady and his brothers, and Kaida and her sisters are faced with danger and things that seem out of control.
Ms. Moran’s description of people, places and things make the story even more fascinating. This contemporary romance/fantasy kept me reading long after my bed time. This first book in the series has me anxiously awaiting the next.

In 1718 Celeste Galloway was put to death by Minister Meath. He was fanatical in his hatred of witches. Her curse is still in place. Today the Galloways and the Meaths must work together to remove it. The power of three must prevail. It starts when Kaida Galloway comes to Six Fates Island to meet the sisters she never knew existed. Then she sees Brady. They’ve known each for years in their dreams. What happens next is a story filled with romance and magic. I couldn’t put down Bewitched. I loved the characters. I wanted to know more about them. The interaction between the Meath brothers and the Galloway sisters kept me reading. Their dialogue was smart and snarky. Their back and forth made me smile. The magic of the island created the perfect setting. I especially loved the connection between Brady and Kaida. He was so caring that I fell for him. The ending blew me away. I couldn’t believe what happened. I’m so excited knowing there are more stories to come. Kelly Moran has exceeded expectation with this book. I’m looking forward to the next book in the Fated series.
Bewitched is the first book in The Fated Series my Ms. Moran. I was taken from the first page. I can say that this author has never disappointed me in any book I have read of hers. Bewitched was simply amazing. So many wonderful things about this book. All the characters are great and they will make you laugh.
Kaida Galloway has come home to find answers. She never knew her birth mother as she was adopted. What she finds is so much more. The boy/man Brady from her dreams is real. She can’t beleieve it. But she also has sisters.
Brady Meath can’t believe his dream girl/women is here in his home town of Six Fates Island. He couldn’t be seeing a ghost could he? What he finds out later will shock everyone.
When Brady and Kaida finally face to face not in there dreams. A pull they haven’t ever felt before takes them both by surprise.
Wait to see what happens because it gets so good. The Best is Yet to Come….
Highly recommended….
Wow! I loved this book and cannot wait for the others. This book sucked me in from the beginning. The history between the Galloways and the Meaths is what brings us to our story today. I really enjoyed Kaida and Bradys characters. Their connection was so fun to read. This was a great start to a new series. Absolutely loved it!
This book has witches, magic, curses, mystery and a love story! Celeste Galloway was put to death by Minister Meath. He had a hatred of witches. Celeste’s curse that she cast is still in place. Kaida Galloway was sent away to protect her but, her sisters knew everything about her. Kaida kept having a dream about Brady Meath since she was little and Brady was having the same thing happen to him about Kaida. Kaida is given a letter from her birth mother telling her she had 2 sisters. Kaida takes a leave from her job and travels to Six Fates Island to meet the sisters she never knew existed. A meeting is set up with the Galloway girls and the Meath boys and that is when Kaida sees Brady and they both have known each other for years in their dreams. The connection between Kaida and Brady is awesome!! Then one day Kaida is taken and it turned out to be Minister Meath who took her and he threatened to kill her. What happens regarding the curses, Minister Meath, the Galloway sisters and the Meath brothers?? To find out you really need to read this book and trust me you will love this book!! I loved this book and can’t wait for the next book. Totally awesome job on this book Kelly Moran.
BEWITCHED is the first book in the Fated series, and we start off with the youngest sister who knows nothing about who she is. Kaida is searching for her family. She has always known she was adopted, and her search has landed her on Six Fates Island. There she finds a great (many times over) aunt, and two sisters. Oh, and she finds out she has magical abilities too!
Brady has shared dreams with Kaida for years, but neither of them thought the other was real. Brady is the opposite side of the coin to Kaida, he has no magical abilities and is from a family of witch hunters.
These two fit like perfect jigsaw pieces. So very different, and so right for each other. I loved how their story was written, with no unnecessary fighting or squabbles. Instead, the focus remained on them trying to succeed at opening their box.
The relationships between all six of our main characters was brilliant–they built up slowly, and definitely leave you wanting to know more.
An easy-to-read style of writing that is full of action and attitudes! There were no editing or grammatical errors that I noticed, and the pacing was smooth with no plot-holes.
Absolutely recommended by me, and bring on book 2!
I will be honest, I don’t normally read paranormal/witch romances, but because Kelly Moran wrote this one, I decided I would go into with an open mind. I am so glad that I did. This story and these characters pulled me in and I could not let go. I still can’t – I want the next book in the series now!!
Kaida always felt like an outsider and outcast. She never felt truly loved or accepted in life. She discovered after her parents died, that she was adopted and had sisters. Ever since she was a little girl, Kaida has been having very realistic dreams that involve one particular guy. As an adult, she still has dreams of this man and feels like she truly knows him. When she goes to meet her birth family, Kaida also meets Brady and learns that he was having the exact same dreams, however, their two families have been at odds for centuries.
Kaida’s trip is only temporary, but can her sisters and Brady convince her this is where she belongs? Can Kaida and Brady mend the rift between their families?
This is the first book in the series of FATED starting with Kaida Galloway. It had me hooked from the beginning with. The sad back story starts your journey. Then your in the present time where two sisters and an aunt await the arrival of the third sister. This is all unknown to her when she takes time off to follow up on a letter from her birth mother to Six Fates Island. Here lies the answers she has been searching for and so much more she didn’t ever dreamed possible. This is including the boy/man Brady Meath that she has dreamed about her whole life. It was a heartwarming story. The sisters have their work cut out for them to break the curse but they will need all three Meath brothers to do it, while unknown danger is closing in on them. Highly recommend this book.
A book full of witches, curses and a mystery still going on. A curse that the Galloway’s and the Meath’s have to work together to remove it. Loved all the characters and the flow of this story.
Be prepared to be pulled into the magical world of the Galloway witches. Destiny of three men and three women. Ms. Moran weaves a tale that makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the story.
Kaida has lived her whole life know knowing her true destiny but has always felt something was missing. She see a mystery man in her dreams. Brady has had dream of the mystery women since he was young. What happens when they come face to face?
If you love paranormal you need to add this book to your list. It is full of magic, mystery, trials, doom, revenge, romance, and a past full of sorrow. As you turn each page you learn more of the past and the future. Can the Kaida and Brady set in motion the removal of a curse from the past? I can’t wait for the next book.
This kicks off a new series by Kelly Moran. I’m already so in love with this series. I’m a huge fan of charmed and this feeds that love of witches. The whole premise of the series is so intriguing. Something else that I really loved is you can feel the emotions rolling off the characters be it the good buys or the bad guys. This book was a hard one to put down because I got so invested in the Galloways and Meaths. The history of the families and the curse has me hooked. Then you have Kaida and Brady which is a whole new thing to love about the book. They have history and you can feel their connection. They also have great chemistry. There were moments this book had me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I can tell I’m going to be eagerly awaiting it maybe even a little impatiently.
In this first installment of her “Fated” series, Moran combines her genius in the “small town” romance genre with a steamy, kick-in-the-gut paranormal twist. 5 stars, baby!
