Time After Time…
“If love is like fire, then I’ll get burned”
Sixteen years is a long time to have an “infatuation” with someone. That’s how long Olivia and Weston have pined for the other. While I really liked this story, the start was a little slow and I had a hard time getting into the story-line. I’m glad I stuck with it.

This was a really sweet enjoyable book. The characters, Olivia and Weston, fell in love in high school during some of the most turbulent times of their lives. Due to his home situation he pushed her away until 16 years later when he rescued her from a car accident. They quickly advance in their relayionship; however, his past came back to haunt him and he pushed her away again. Fortunately they are able to work their issues out and finally get them HEA.

I enjoyed this heartwarming book about a second chance romance. For these two, finding their way back to each other was the miracle they both needed to feel whole. Despite being reunited, they still had to overcome the heartache of the past. I love that there is also a secondary romance and a family finally healing from the past. I didn’t like how much it jumped from past to present. It was a bit much. Still, it was very much a great read.

This book is about Weston and Olivia that met in junior year of high school. Olivia had just lost her mom to cancer and Weston and his family moved into town.
Weston was a loner but he was everything that Olivia could think about. She wanted to go to Prom with him. She waited for him to ask her to go but he never did. She got tired of waiting for him and decided to ask him herself but he told her no. She was crushed but she didn’t give up trying to talk to him.
Many years later and neither one of them has settled down. They both still think about the other. What will happen if they see each other again. Will the spark still be there. Are memories better than fact?
This story has a lot of depth and will touch on some trigger subjects. Very good book I would recommend this book.
