Hey, it’s me. The girl who went to a rock show, had too much to drink and… you know the rest. Or maybe not. I’m an attention seeker, right? That’s what you think. That I must have done something to warrant this happening to me… supposed to pick up the pieces of my life and move on?
Who can I trust? How can I trust again?
Noah
Finding out the truth about what happened that night was the biggest wake-up call of my life.
She lost everything that night, and it’s my fault.
I have to help her. I have to teach her to trust again.

I read the first book in the series a while ago and came across this and was eager to continue series. Although there’s a ton of inner dialogue it’s okay due to the subject matter. The betrayal of close friends is palpable and her emotional turmoil as she deals with it becomes long and drawn out. I know this is completely on me because I did enjoy the story but all of the back and forth just made me want the book to be over. It is a good story and it is emotional and worth the read.
Kyra Lennon was a new author to me when I read Hear What You Want, which is the first book of this emotional series, and I then eagerly followed the progress of Say What You Feel as I couldn’t wait to continue the story of Ambra and Noah after the nail biting cliffhanger of the first book. I may have squealed when this book hit my Kindle lol, and I most definitely wasn’t disappointed with this heart wrenching 5 star read.
Say What You Feel gripped me from the start and refused to let go. Even now, days later, it still has its arms tightly wrapped around me and I find myself constantly thinking about the difficult, but brave, journey taken by Ambra who was betrayed in one of the most soul crushing ways and then left to pick up the pieces. All I can say is, thank goodness for Noah who became her ‘safe’ and was there with her every step of the way.
Kyra Lennon clearly wasn’t finished with the surprises when it came to this second book, and your heart breaks for Ambra again and again as she has to deal with the continued betrayal of someone whose actions changed her life forever. I don’t want to say too much and give the story away, but I found myself hating this person and hoping they’d get their comeuppance as Ambra finds yet more strength to face them head on. When it came to chapter 31, I had to stop reading for a few minutes just before Ambra found out the outcome as I honestly wasn’t sure which way it would go. I felt sick and took a deep breath as I picked up my Kindle and rejoined Ambra. This scene was so powerful and displayed so well the amazing talent of Kyra Lennon. In fact, this whole book, and series, shows what a fantastic and talented author she is.
As with Hear What You Want, Say What You Feel is a book that makes you stop and think about subjects that some authors would avoid writing about. It challenges your views, and makes you question what you believe to be right and wrong. I love books that take on difficult topics and don’t shy away from the battles so many, too many, people face. This is a series that readers definitely need to pick up and read!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book
Another amazing instalment to the Chaos and consent series. I won’t give anything much away in my review, because I feel like you need to read these books first hand without picking up snippets from reviews, because the raw emotion from the story is so moving. I can’t stress enough how much you need to pick up these books and give them a go. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Book 2 deals with some dark issues, it will break your heart, because it happens in real life. We know it does. The way Kyra handles a delicate subject is fabulous. You can just tell that this subject means a great deal to the author.
5 amazing stars! I can’t wait for more.
Say What You Feel continues Ambra and Noah’s story where Hear What You Want ended. I have not been able to put either book down, in fact I have actually read them both within a 24-hour period and with the exception of having to do the essentials for my family, everything has been put aside whilst I devour this story.
Ambra’s story is not an easy one to read. It is real, emotional, raw and very thought provoking too. What she went through is heart-breaking but I felt that the author wrote her story with care, understanding and compassion. I adore Ambra’s strength, bravery and determination but during those times when she was understandably struggling, I wanted nothing more than to take all her pain and negative emotions away.
From the moment we first met Noah I knew there was something special about him and my admiration for him just kept on growing and growing. Since meeting Ambra his life has been turned upside down but I loved that he kept on fighting and believing long after a time when others may have easily given up.
This story is gripping from start to finish. I adore the connection that Ambra and Noah have, it was there from the moment their eyes met and is truly special. Kyra Lennon wrote this story perfectly, ensuring that I felt every emotion and I know it will stay with me for a long time. There have been moments when I cried and times when I held my breath waiting to see what happened next. I can assure you that this story was never predictable, which I absolutely loved.
This is an incredible series that readers definitely need to pick up and read!
This is the second book in the duet series; one that has turned my world upside down. It’s been a while since a story has touched me so deeply like this one but it’s definitely ‘cuz the topic really got to me, in ways I could never explain. It’s a story of a woman that has been through something so horrific and is now trying to deal with the aftermath. Not every scar is visible and it’s not always easy to deal with what you’ve been through, to find a way to heal from within. And to know that, even though you feel alone, there’s always something or someone out there that makes you feel like you have a strength within that keeps you fighting, even though sometimes you want to give up and numb the pain. The way the author has written the story was in a way healing for me. This duet series is definitely a must read that will rip your heart out and make you feel every emotion. Yes, you will cry but it’s a story that will stay with you for a very long time, even after finishing it…
Ambra has been through so much and is trying to deal with everything the best she can but when she finally remembers what really happened that awful night, it may be the final blow. Even though every day she is trying her hardest to get back to the person she once was, it seems that everything around her falls apart even more. And when one day she doesn’t see a way out, there’ll be only one person that can save her in the end…
Noah is trying to deal with the aftermath of what has not only happened to Ambra but also to him and his band. Even though he has to stay away from her, there’s this connection between them that keeps them together. And when Ambra is falling apart even more, he’ll do whatever he can to protect her and keep her safe. But will it be enough?…
And will Ambra finally get the justice she deserves?…
